So I found out 1 out of my 2 plants, using Sunleaves Garden of Ease Hydro set up, was a male last night and had to cut it down. Showed male after 44 days in a hydro box. it was very stubby. The other plant is nearly six times the size and showed to be female at 28 days, which was almost a week before flowering.
My question is will the chopped plant continue to grow or will it cause root rot? I just cut the base and nott the roots, so technically the plant is still taking nutrients.
Someone mentioned hygrozeme to me which kills dead plant material and helps growth, but are my roots dead? The plants roots are insanely intertwined so I cant seperate the roots.
Whats best? Chop down and give some hygrozeme or other solution, or let it grow?..if it will....
Any input is awesome
Thanks
