I have been using dirt for a few years now but I've been kinda feeding them like a hydro way...mix the nutes in a barrel and then pump it to the plants...but I'm tired of dirt...to damn messy...so I'm ordering my hydro supplies and I hope I ordered right...then hopefully the seeds that I kept in the frig are still good or I will have to try and order from attitude seed bank. Oi VeyAll right! Hydroponics is what I know, and hydroponics is the way I grow!

I've used rockwool, jiffy plugs(peat),and this last time soil. I just started them in solos and transplanted to hydroton. It all works...pick one that your good with and go with it.Apologies if this has been covered.
I'm looking at moving to a hydro setup of some kind due to a losing battle with gnats.

Those of you that are doing hydro, how do you start seeds? Do you start them in the buckets with peat plugs or rockwool cubes? Or, do start them in in a tray with peat plugs are seed starting soil?
I'm trying not to use anything with organic material that could cause another infestation.
Any help will be appreciated.
