yeah I always thought it was white and whites and reds... never knew they had the red only option too...Not stupid at all. But honestly out of all the questions i've asked Jeff, i never thought to ask that one sense i'd be running full power only in flower. I'm sure you could use just the red but i'm guessing it would be a waste of time unless you're using it as a red light district light.. Maybe it could be used to stop/slow down vertical growth? But i did ask him would it beneficial to run full power from seed to harvest and he said it wasn't beneficial during Veg and to flip to full power slightly before or slightly after you flip to 12/12.
Would like to see one of those diodes per square a 660nm but from all reports they are growing nice weed still
