not sure how other states MMJ laws work but in washington where i live (and i have my recommendation) if your house gets raided and you are under your 60 day supply limit they can do nothing but leave after you show them your MMJ recommendation.
if you are over ... even by 45 pounds the only thin the cops are allowed to do is take a sample for testing . take pictures of your stash and plants. and weigh it.
they cant haul all of your gear off because some peeps are allowed to be over the limit. and the state dosnt really want to take someones medicine.

First, lemme tell ya that I agree with you. It's fucking nutz how folks come to a forum, and make up all kinds of bullshit for attention. Unfortunately, I have been busted (in grand style), and can generally tell if they are telling the truth. I know it's a common thing, but whats the point of making up and lying about a bust of all things?
Does that MMJ law cover you if you "meant to get a card, but just haven't gotten around to it yet?" It'll be interesting to see how that plays out in court. I'm sure it'll come up.
That being said, heres the scoop:
Number 1 happens all the time. Cops walk up to a crime scene and they have every right to investigate. They DO NOT NEED a warrant to enter a crime scene. And do you REALLY believe that the cops don't inflate the size and value of a bust? Is that so surprising?
No. 3, Even tho it's not "Heroin or Coke", it is still classified as a narcotic. And cultivation can carry penalties far worse that posession of either heroin or coke. Pot laws are selectively enforced at best. If busting you would serve to further someones personal or political agenda, they'll throw the book at you. Then again, you may only get your wrists slapped.
It's fucking hilarious to sit and read what some people believe. You're right. Most here have NO FUCKING CLUE what can really happen to them for even the tiniest bit of contraband, and god forbid they grow. How in the hell can a farmer grow corn, wheat, or what ever, yet we are MANUFACTURING cannabis? While I agree that most here aren't growing enough to matter, to listen to them say that they aren't in any danger, and that the cops won't bother them is absolutely naive and short-sighted.

And yeah, i know that the police are more than capable of exaggerrating the truth to make shit bustworthy for sure- dont get me wrong there, im not saying that what this guy says happened to him isnt possible, just on the scale that hes saying it happened is what makes the story unbelievable. Its like Mane said, We DO need to Quote the Fuckin Truth here, and in order to do that, we need to have an account of what happened to this dude, before anyone (including myself) comes in and bashes him for bullshitting about getting busted -- its possible that he mis spoke, or has his own facts wrong or something along those lines, so until he comes back and lets us know what happens - i apologize for jumpin the gun and makin him out to look like a dickhead too early, lol.
But yeah, like i was sayin, yes, its possible for the cops to make shit look worse than what it is, ive been in jail on a few different occasions, and although none of them were for growin, i have had my fair share of possession charges, and not nessecarily for grass. It aint fun gettin run in, but its the penalties that im questioning here. I dont completely doubt that this dude might have gotten robbed, and possibly even busted, but i wanna know what happened, who arrested him, and all the gory details.

i dont beleave the cops can get away with this. they will try and might get away with it. But dont go *down* without a fight.
my number one piece of advice is ask for pictures of everthing IN your house. not just pictures of the stuff. question every thing they say about your grow. bring your own ammo, ie informatino about growing dope how much you can yeld from indoor plants with cirtin lights, chemicals, ect.
bring tonns of informationon why you need you M&M card *i assume thats for midicnal m.j* and the state laws on how much you can posess with your card. all the stuff you can think of, be verry prepared.
and possibly if you have a pic or two of previous crops * thins may help or hurt your case. because if you were dooing somthing illeagel by growing. you have to take the fall for that. but you can miniumize the trubble your in. fess up to what you were dooing and take the crap. but dont be shit on by the 5-0. lol
my number 2 piece of advice. inform your local media shoot them an email about your situation, perhaps an exact copie of what you origonally posted in this thread. if they like the idea they will contactc you. and it never hurts to have extra support no matter who it from. you may beable to stur up a storm. get some other locals with M&M cards to protest outside the court room. because what the ploice is dooing is clearly not right. and with some help they WONT get away with it.
