100-150 w per sq ft..... 4x4 room with a 600w mh/hps would be awesome u could veg for 3 weeks then put in flower and get sumwhere around 2-3oz per plant ... mh for veg hps for flower

Since its getting cold for you, a 600/1000 mh/hps would be your best bet.

4x6 im running 700w cfl... but if i could do it over i woulda went hps and as soom as i get some money back i am going hps for grow but ill keep cfl s for veg in a different room

If you go with hps buy a coolable hood.

no, pay attention to the hood styles ect. As sunshine said, get a sealed hood unless your rooms are below 60f

No they are both 600w bulbs. The 1000watt kit cost more. The ballast is designed for specific wattage bulbs. When i said 600/1000, i meant buy a 600watt or a 1000watt. 36x20x62 if this is centimeters then just stick with the 600.

u can still overwater. it helps drain but u still dont want to water alot as a seedling , i wait till my cup feels real light (like dry soil) then water it till its got some weight to it again usually about 3 days and i dont make big holes i use a pencil and pole one hole in the middle and a few holes in a circle around that.
edit: overwatering will make ur seeding fall over or leaves droopy
