That's what im thinking but the truth is I don't even want to go their-10 years ago I would have gone in and slapped this bitch and told her if I didn't get my money or my chair they wouldn't have a store-I cant get down like that anymore and it sucks because what they did is fucked up and i'm pretty poor so the 700 is a huge deal to me, plus the chair they gave me really does suck, so bad it's almost embarrising- it looks tacky like why would you buy a big fake leather chair? at least my other one was cool because I could say it was free- i'm ashamed of this purchase.
Can I cancle the part I paid on credit card? how would that work? would they try to sue me for not paying? would I have to file police report? This is some real B.S. couldn't even sleep i'm so pissed off, I could have furnished my whole place-and it needs it to, but I thought I would be better with one nice piece of furniture than a whold house of cheap furniture because the cheap stuff sucks and breaks, well now all I got is one cheap ass chair for 700$ now i'm broke.

if your gonna spend 700 dollars on a sofa how the hell did you not see it before???

either way you are entitled to return ANY product for either a store credit or your money back within 30 days. this whole 'all sales are final' is just a ploy stores use to discourage returns but it's illegal to refuse a return within 30 days in most states....

I'm an idiot, That's how you buy it without seeing it.
The place is local and I talked to the lady working their and really explained what I wanted and she showed me stuff that was supposed to be like what they could get and she could just order this great chair so I went for it. I just kind of trusted her knowing their buisness is right next door and she speeks english I thought she would be happy to sell some furniture and make a few bucks- didn't expect she was going to jack me. The receipt I signed says some shit about all sales are final and returns are subject to a 50% restocking fee. I'm waiting untill noon time to see what happens-I'm going to the store at 10 to get some top shelf O.G. so I can roll a blunt and maintain and not flip out.

Does it not specify what you bought in the contract you signed? It should list the product.

"I'm an idiot, That's how you buy it without seeing it" I read your posts and I refuse to accept this fact. IMHO you are a a goof man with a good heart and a humble person. Fact is people like you inevitably some time or another get taken advantage of by unscrupulous sorry asses. Perhaps you can find a ambulance chaser who can for a $50 make a call to the bitch a threaten her with a lawsuit. It did work for me several times when I owned a car business in NM an had to fight insurance agent villains. Good luck and sorry for this mess.

So I went to the store and the lady wasn't their, this guy was, I tried to stay calm and didn't swear but I was obviously pissed and made it clear i'm very unhappy. Explained what happened he was trying to explain how bonded leather is leather and I told him how I has said I didn't want bonded leather and how I'm not happy and want the chair picked up today, He told me to calm down and they would straighten it out the woman wasn't their the guy said she would be in at 2 and call me. He said they should be able to pick it up today and told me not to worry. It's almost 3 and no one has called. I told the guy they could give me my money or a chair that's leather. He acted like I was out of line for being upset and like it was no big deal and someone would take care of it and make me happy. I think they got my money and I got a bullshit chair, Anyone who was trying to make it right would have called that bitch on her cell phone and had it dealt with. What time do I wait untill before I call them? Any advice on my next move.?

he paid for leather and was given plastic, that doesn't make someone a goof.:wall:

Craigslist is fucking awesome. I've garbage picked bedroom furnature sets and sold them on craigslist for over $500.
I never told them I garbage picked it, but I always let them take the time to look over everything so I think that's pretty fair.

I just called and it was the same guy he said the ladies late but will call me, I tried to be nice and ask if they had the chance to look into it and if she could call me when she has had a chance to look into this, but its a small place not a big chain so I smell B.S. and Scumbags but i'm trying not to piss them off because it won't do me any good and might stop them from helping me.
If this situation has taught me anything it's that i'm greatfull to be alive, my games fucked up if a lady at a furniture store can hustle me like that I need to be more careful, This was very unlike me usually I'm really careful about purchases and never get big ticket items like this especially without being really careful and getting a good deal but I figured it was someplace nearby and only furniture so it shouldn't be a problem. I guess I fucked up.
