exactly... I feel rep is based on the fact of etheir a) Someone has helped you in a certain way or b) you strongly agree with someone's POV or statement.


Really it is a popularity contest, but your not supposed to be a whore about it. You have to know when and when not to rep someone.

If someone reps me, I always rep back,out of appreciation.If I have given out too much rep, I store them in the notepad and get them the next day.I give rep for grow advice,and also if someone has made me laugh, or needs cheering up.It's like a friendly pat on the back.The neg rep was like a smack in the kisser,lol.

I got - rep for telling someone "good luck" on your grow. The person thought that meant something bad. LOL

I like how the system makes you spread the love. It keeps us from hooking up our RIU chat buddies.

Sometimes I give out lots of rep and get nothing in return and then when I am not expecting it, I get +rep. Funny how that shit works :hump:
