You can do feeder plants (feed the fish) but they go quick... ya know... energy is not created, only transferred. The fish food is your energy. But, in a for appearance and culinary herbs garden... a mint plant in its own container, feeding the growth down in the tank, is pretty cool.

They will pick at it as they need it. Like, if you quit feeding them, they'll blow through it. If you are feeding them regularly they take it easy on them. So, if I leave town for a week I can know they have something to eat.

Mint is stupid invasive though, so, you want to give it a separate container. Any non-spicey leafy plant that will trail down and not rot away under water will work as a feeder plant. I've always used mint though.

I know your not calling me a fan boy or a troll. You act as if I attacked you, I was trying to help you but if you want to run a side by side from seed go right ahead just remember it proves nothing clones are identical seeds are not, FACT!
I am more interested in helping the op with his or her problem rather than telling them how my way is better if that makes me a troll then check me out while I trollitup. To the OP only, how is your plant doing did you get it sorted out. What is the status of it is it better worse did you do anything or are you distracted by coco and fish poop now?
A bit distracted, however I transplanted and fed a light dose of dyna gro and new growth is looking good. Only regret is not doing them separately to see what the culprit was

That is absolutely awesome. I started just wanting to grow my own stash but I'm getting more and more wrapped up in botany by the day. Never thought it could be so interesting

I an glad to hear it is getting better... Did it have a nice full root ball? I have found that deficiencies and root bound go together most times... If you can feed a root bound plant what out needs out will chug on but we wasn't happy healthy plants that is what makes good buds

I love growing. Sometimes I'll smoke a few bowls and just sit in my tent watching my plants.

Growermd
and Hygrohybrid have great tutorials on youtube. Everything you need to know is there.
Kbgrowkid420 has a very green thumb also.
GrowerMD grows in coco and hygro grows monster plants in dwc.

yeah I definitely needed a transplant. I'm actually really surprised at how fast roots will outgrow their space. Kinda puts it into perspective the importance of pot size

With those transplants too.... even if they are not rootbound yet, you get more new root growth. So, if root damage was the cause of your deficiencies/drooping/etc, it speeds along recovery.

Dboi97 don't forget to use mycorrhizae and other beneficials when you transplant. Products like mykos, great white, orca.

Good luck with DWC popcorn900. Keep your rez temps in down. Use big airstones with a strong pump. Use Cal/mag and beneficials.
Dont buy the $10 yellow ph meter from ebay they suck ass, will break in a month. Get the waterproof one. GH Floranova is a simple one part nutrient. Grow for veg and bloom for flower. Use ro water, filter+ sink adapter under $100 ebay.

Good Luck Guys
