hmm that sounds like a factor, im just using CFL's at the moment but im pritty sure they are within the flowering spectrum, ill see if i can find a light for vedge. any one have any ideas where i could find such a light. i have about a 60 screw fitting for a CFL.im pretty sure that light spectrum has alot to do with it... if your running on the redder side you will get more males and a blue spectrum will grow females.
bannanas release a hormone thats found in higher quantities in females (ethylene)
here i stole this.....
Treatment of hempseed with ethylene gas will increase the resulting number of female plants by about 50%. Ethylene is produced by certain plants (i.e., bananas, cucumbers and melons), and these can be used to treat hempseed in a simple manner. About two weeks before you plan to sprout the seeds, place them in a paper bag or envelope and put that in a plastic bag with the peels of a ripening banana or cucumber. Replace the peels after a couple of days, and change the bags to prevent mold.

HEY nice info, i think it's more about the stuff im doing rather than the seeds. but i'll give it a go all the same. XD
NAA im stressing the fuck out of him now... trying to get the little bastard to hermi on me so i can get atleast some smoke form it.dont stress ur plants 2 much..
if you have a lowes or a home depot in the area hit up the lightbulb isle. (usually the first one in both stores) cfls are pretty cheap for what they can accomplish. i think that is why you are having so many males, when you start them under flowering spectrum (redder) you get more males like i said before... once you get the right spectrum bulbs in there you should see alot of improvement. (i always veg under the 5700k and when i flower i switch all the bulbs to 2300k) but dont be afraid to have one or 2 of the other spectrum. im no veteran but im pretty sure you want a little of the other kind too just to have a full spectrum grow.hmm that sounds like a factor, im just using CFL's at the moment but im pritty sure they are within the flowering spectrum, ill see if i can find a light for vedge. any one have any ideas where i could find such a light. i have about a 60 screw fitting for a CFL.
