i left the wife in charge, please help.

i have 2 closets.
1. 24/0 never turn it off.
and other
2. 12/12, on 9am of 9pm.
easy.
well i had to go away for 2 nites and give her/the wife. the instructions above and left.
come back today and she turned the 24/0 closet of for 19 hours for 2 days,
and the 12/12 closet should be, on at 9 and off at 9.
she has done
i put on at 9am monday morning, and she, turned off at 9pm, monday night. and switched back on at 2pm the next day. 19 hours darkness for two days, and only 6 hours lite,
there back to normal now, will they be ok, or will they be hermie, this is the only time they have ever been messed with.
i hope they are ok, cos the 3 oldest are fem seeds. 17 days 12/12.

buy timers. Tell her she should study more. And i hope all is well. Ull just have wait they should be ok but ull never really know. I hate depending on others.

sounds to me like she has underlying issues with you growing or at the very least has no respect for your hobby.

they could go either way, it depends on the stability of your gens. i don't understand how a room on 24/0 would be turned off???? and you should kick urself in the arse for not getting a timer for the other room. tell you what, you kick her in the ass, and she kicks you in the ass!!

You should be fine, I have read that it can take up to two weeks before they convert from 24/0 18/6 veg to 12/12 flowering.

I wouldn't worrie.

Its only two days of a light sched fuck up. your plants wont really react. Just buy a couple of timers

i just got a cheap digital timer from the hardware store-works really well. much nicer to not be stressing about the lights all the time.

its my own fault though for leaving,and i think she's a bit scared, of fucking them up.
and i think she downt like the lites on at night , when im not here, cos the plants are in the garage, and she dont want any,shit happening, when im not here. e.g. the plants getting robbed ect...
i wont leave them again, and im going to put the timer on, i was just a bit bothered about the wireing in the garage, but if it goes it goes, im not rewireing it, cos were moving soon.

if the plant is already a full female.. it wont become a hermie... if its already a male.. its a male.. the seeds already are arranged. to be either female or male... and somtimes hermie's.. so the light has nothing to do with it.

wtf is all this hermie..... i turn the light on and off, mix the schedule and never got a stable plant to hermie where did this come from ?

you dont know what your talking about.
a plant can go hermie. from female, due to lite leaks, and bad timeing.
how do you think they make fem seeds, they stress the plants, in such a way that the plants,they go hermie to make fem seeds.
im not trying to do this, i just want females.
maybe you should read up a little. before telling somone every things going to be ok. and a plants that is female, cannot go hermie. when they deffo, 100% can.

Might have been wrong about the hermie thing.. but i remember reading somwhere saying exactly what i said. Stress can cause it to become hermie... but you might need a lot of it... not just 2 nights... think of it as kind of like a cloudy day for the plants..?

Wife or no wife, not having a timer is too much trouble. I thought I could go without a timer my first grow. But I would mess up every now and then, all fucked up. Two weeks they didn't flower. I got a 5 dollar timer from walmart and they flowered 3 days later. Buying a time makes things sooo simple. You could of just watered them and went on yur trip without a care in the world!

you dont know what your talking about, if you want a hermie, just buy fem seeds. all plants can go hermie, its happened many times, to many people. you must be doing somthing rite.lol

i moved this 1 plant in and out of 5 different light sources, plus the sunshine, at 5 different light schedules along its 4-month long life cycle, still turned female

sorry to hear crazy. just put it back on 24/7 and keep a watchful eye on your plants . they could go to hermies due to switching light schedule .but if you have strong genes it shouldnt be a problem.hope all will be ok Peace

thats the only prob ive had with these, and a little cold but thats sorted now.

i dont know the strain at all crazy .but a few months ago i was growing diesel opened the door to the room a few times to empty dehu and i ended up with a lot of hermies the guys that said female is female is on crack.you can stress out any plant out hard enough and it will go hermie.just keep an eye on the bud sites and pray to the ganja god .i hope all is well. Peace

i know. ive had hermie probs in every grow, due to one thig or another, but this time i havent made one mistake at all,only this, so if so.
its a new lesson learned,use a timer and dont leave the wife in charge..
