PM got it. Too bad cause they were all looking good till that hit
Do you plan to try this technique in the future? Its too bad about the PM...especially with that much extra air flow. Better luck next time around. I've lost a few cuts over the yrs to PM. I live on the damp cold coast of ME and if PM takes hold its a lot of work to eradicate it

I have to do that to my outdoor plants during fist week of flower to prevent white mildew and then continue to clip leafs off as it flowers hasn't hurt my yeild at all actually it imroved it and makes to bottom of the plant not have popcorn buds

You can still harvest your crop if it has PM. Just gotta rinse it immediately after the chop -- which isn't a bad idea even if you don't have PM.
I had one crop with PM *and* mites, but after the chop & rinse, it actually turned out pretty good. Not fully mature, but other than that, it was fine.
The rinse I used was just diluted peroxide, but I forget the ratio. It's the one recommended by Jorge Cervantes.

For my outdoor I just started spraying my flowing plants about 3 weeks into flower with really high ph water in a spray bottle and mist the whole plant and its stoped the mold in its tracks so far , i heard people rinsing with luke warm water even to buds without pm right after they chop and it was a smooth end product , i have one that about 9-10weeks in flower with very little leafs and it had pm on the small leafs it has going to try the high ph water on the buds to get rid of the pm

Why not just spray ProTekt silica? It has a high ph and also strengthens leaf tissues.

Sorry I live in Maine, Standish nit far from coast. It won't happen again I can all but garentee that. I won't allow it LOL. I have 6 white cookies seedlings just ending their 2nd week of life and 8 white widow auto's that are in paper towels since last night. Some have already cracked, and in less than 24hrs. It's the moon cycle, it's in waxing right now early and it's good for root growth.

I do plan on it. From all ive seen defoliation is the way to go as far as photo's go. Not sure if that technique can be used on autos though. I know LSTing is recommended as well as a scrog for autos, and photo's for that matter guess it depends on preference

I'll keep an eye out for this grow should you decide to journal or throw up some pics. I've never defoliated other than all the weak spindly branches and sucker growth underneath. I usually do this when I trans to their final pots and possibly once more after the stretch. Strain dependent of course.

I'll post but last time I caught alot of shit for it and I was so bummed when the pm took them down cause they were all going to have 2x the amount they would have if i had left them alone. If you Google mariquana defoliation techniques you'll be able to decide for yourself if you think it is worth doing. I was convinced but everyone is different.
