i need help serius help.....

First i want to thank you guys for your response....so here we go i have no lighting system,no watering system, i jus dont ima comlplete newb i have studied and gained some knowledge on the art of growing but i am ready for the setup and need a little help. i have a small space to work with and not to much money but i kno its workable i smoke everyday now its time to cut the middle man and produce my own bud.
 
you gotta have some kinda light unless you gonna keep em outside.... or i dont think you can jus keep em by a window the whole time. maybe?? i got three 2' grow lights from walmart. lol. not the best setup ever but it works...
 
Well moving your plants outdoors this season wouldn't be a bad idea if lack indoor growing resources. It's also ok if you just wanted to germinate them just as an experiment.
 
Ok im going to germinate 6 seeds and hope for at least 3. im going to get new pots better soil, perlite and rocks. how can i set that up in the pots thou? soil perlite and rocks... i am only planting 3 no matter how many germinate. my first grow went haywire. so its time to ante up. round 2
 
You're putting the cart before the horse...Buy some lights, soil, containers, and set up your room. Then you are ready to start germinating some seeds and start planting. Fluorescent lights work good for the first 2-3 weeks, but you need to keep them very close to the light, like an inch at the most, or else they will stretch. Stretching means the stem will just grow and grow and grow because it is reaching for the light. After 2-3 weeks, it is advisable to upgrade to either HID (metal halide or high pressue sodium) or some CFL's, or you can move them outside. It is the perfect time of year to grow outside if you are in a high latitude in the northern hemisphere.

Do a little research then get back to us with some specific questions. We'll be glad to help. Don't be intimidated. This is a challenging and rewarding hobby, but it isn't rocket science.

It's a place to start. How big is it and how many watts? Also, sometimes they will put the temp right on the bulb. Bulb temp is in the kevin scale. So it might say something like 6200K. Higher number is better at this point in the game but isn't too critical as long as it isn't too low. Mine are actually only 4200K, but I'm only starting them indoor and move them outside after a few weeks so it isn't as big of a deal. But if you are going to do a full indoor grow, you want high numbers, like 6200K for the vegetative stage, and low numbers like 3200K for flowering. Then again some people like to use the full range of spectrum. I just went down wal mart and bought two, 2' fluorescent grow lights. They were like $8 bucks a piece I think. That is good enough for the first few weeks. But just remember, when you use fluorescents, you gotta keep them VERY close. They grow fast the first two days which means you might have to raise the light twice, sometimes even 3 times a day.

Unless you want to shell out a couple hundred dollars for top quality HID (high intensity discharge) lighting you will probably end up going with CFL.

Also quality soil is a must. How much are you willing to spend in initial start up costs?

Yes thats right but dont complicate things for yourself by reading to much in to things or reading other posts that are not nessesary to your situation or experience as i think some people are trying to fill your head with worry and thoughts.
