I really need some hydro help... feeling super discouraged and confused!

Awesome. Seriously thank you. I think at this point if it just doesn't die, I'll call it a success.

And just to be sure, these nute rates are good for auto plants? And increasing the nutrients suddenly is ok?

Yes! I've read many replies from Rky and I agree... wondered that myself. Glad to have some help at any rate!
He's here and catching up and confusing me.

an auto with that much damage migth only need what she's feeding it. or close to it.

if it were me, i'd at a bit of RO to get it to 0.4 EC and see if it drops overnite. if it still goes up, something is wrong.
Ok, so what do you think about this. I add RO tonight to get it down to .4. Retest in the am and see if it's drinking. If it goes down, maybe I was feeding too much? If it rises, assume it needs more? Maybe?

thats what i would do. you aren't going to starve it overnite.

since you burned them, have you ever given them a 12 or 24 hr flush with just plain water? and also, since they have been burnt, has your EC ever gone down?

Ok. Well it's worth a shot, right? No, no flushes and no the EC has never gone down in the history of this plant.

unless you got bugs (please check on that ASAP) i'm betting money that it is nutrient locked. and when you said the water level is static that helped me make that decision.

i would do a 24 hr flush with RO and start back with the 0.3EC mix. i bet she starts eating again and drinking.

and if that doesn't work, try what the others say and feed her even more. i don't think that's your problem though.

I just figured the minor EC rise seen by the following day was just airstones oxygenating the water after a fresh change and didnt think much of it. I see a slight rise in my flower system with airstones for the first day or two after a change before it levels out and starts dropping.

From the sounds of it, the feeding has been dropped multiple times already. The new growth does look pretty good. You dont think it's just getting over previous lockout? That's what I was getting from everything.

what's your max EC ? and roughly how much does it drop daily as a guess? since i've started doing dtw with daily feeds, my EC is way lower than I used to run in dwc and rdwc. i used to hit 1.2 as a max.

EC going up and water level not going down scares me. that's a bad combo. a 7 wk old plant should be drinking a fair amt daily. like a gallon or so if not more.

that just converts EC to all the different ppm meters that are used depending on their conversion factor
You're right! That's because I clicked the wrong chart again. I've screen shot and downloaded so many charts I can't keep it straight.

I looked really closely and did not see any bugs. I looked on the underside as well as the top of the leaves and on the stones and did not see anything. I'm assuming they would be visible to the eye?

I only picked up the EC meter a week or ten days ago. At the time I was feeding with hard well water and following a chart formula that I had found on the growweedeasy website for General Hydroponics. At that point my EC was about 1,200.
