well actually it is my first time, im growing inside using potting soil and a reading lamp (am not shitting you) and so far its growing, but is only like 3 and a half inches tall and is just starting to look like a pot plant. it has a few leaves, in fact i can count them on my hands (i have named them rick, fluffy, peter, mary, einstein, dr. pepper, joe, jack, and watzenhiemer). my friend has grow before (in his closet like i am....yes i still live with my parents, they dont care though) so i have a rough idea of how to do it but would like some professional tips
i am only growing one for the hell of it, i am not doing it to sell or smoke alot, so i only have one plant (for now, next time ill try with three) so i am not doing anything with hydro systems or anything fancy nor am i trying to do cloning or mother stuff, just straight grow one or two plants at a time for shits and giggles (i know how to do that stuff, my grandmother use to grow african violets and judged them so she taught me about that and after someone explained it to me it sounded like the same thing)
all i need is three questions answered
1) what the fuck is a male/female thing, i know males are bad but what do they look like. also with males can you use their leaves to make hash or is it only female plants for that?
2) can i use tap water?
3) how can i stop fungus, mold, and parasites from attacking my plants? i have a fan, and a light, thats it, i am not buying anything so just the easiest dirtiest way to get it done
any other tips any of yall got would be much appreciated, i know alot about guns, not growing weed, but would like to learn how because im a bio major and its some weird stuff that i do i guess
