U kept it closed up too long and too damp... The key is practice for learning the cure... U want stems to bend not snap.. Some smaller stems will break.. But this js hkw u know if its too wet.. Jar it and open it in 20 min first.. An hr the next. If it smells like its wet.. Grass hay smell.. Toss it on a screen amd dry it flr 6 7 hrs.. Repeate till u can jar kt for an hr or too and it doesn't smell wet.. I burp mine ever 10 hrs ..dump and let them and the jar dry fkr like 20 25 min.. Put em back.. That moister gauge shulby mentioned is an awesome toolIve been over drying mine. I watched some video's on youtube how to cure and they all say hang plant until the stems snap. well its always too dry at that point! pisses me off. i backed off and cured some that were still a little moist and a week later it smelled like ammonia.
Sure post some bud pics. I love me some bud candy.Yes it is a joy, and very relaxing, it smells really skunkish with some citrus smell, but I can post more pics up close of bud and get an opinion maybe?
Looks good dood.. How late in flower are yaView attachment 4105468 this is my first grow and was wanting some input on where I am and if I'm doing ok, I mean I know it's sinsamella (spelled wrong possibly, but no seeds) it is a bagseed, 5 cfls 2700k, and I know I know I shouldn't have but it was here when I got the idea, I used scotts MG. Never any liquid nutes just what the MG provided and my status is beginner with a lot of read knowledge, but still need help. Thanks! L2D2

I prefer spinosad.Captain Jack's Dead Bug Brew , which is a Spinosad bug spray, is always good to have on-hand. Works really well, and is one of the most recommended. A Pyrethrum-based and neem-oil bug sprays are also good to have around You can get both anywhere (Home Depot, Walmart, etc...). Just look at the ingredients.
Yeah, the bugs hate the taste of need oil for a reason LOL. Last grow when I discovered spider mites starting to colonize, I totally saturated my plants (still in veg) with all three, at separate times. After each treatment, I vacuumed the leaves using a micro-adapter, to remove the dead and dying mites. I succeeded in eradicating them, which is always fairly tough to do. Took several hours, but I saved my crop!I prefer spinosad.
Neem is ok in veg but don't use in flower. I ruined a plant by spraying it. It tasted like ass.

That happened to me. I was bringing my girls outside fro some good sun down by my garden and when i brought them back in to flower i had spider mites.Yeah, the bugs hate the taste of need oil for a reason LOL. I got them because I was growing outside as well as indoors. Not doing that anymore!
If your compost has bugs in it than the compost probably wasn't fully or properly finished because you didn't maintain the proper temperature. They could also be beneficial insects that would eat harmful things like spider mites but in an indoor environment without proper biodiversity they could turn to eating your roots or plants. They usually will stick to the organic matter in your soil though (giving you insect frass and more plant accessible nutrients) which is what makes you think you still have uncomposted matter in your compost. If it is fully composted and you just have random ass bugs than sit that shit out to dry, as soon as it completely dries out the bugs will leave or die. They need water just like us.Cool shit man. much love. I tried going organic... I composted a barrel of compost with fruits and vegetables and it looks ready and really rich and usable but i brought it in the house and i noticed all sorts of creepy crawlers in it. What do people do about the bugs. I dont wanna bring all the bugs in my grow area.. What if it has spider mites or something. that would suck. Any suggestions?
you're getting too much bad advise. do not put your indoor plant outside in the sun.good info to know. It's been clear and sunny here so ill put it outside to dry out.
I have compost in a barrel in my garage. im gonna put the compost outside to dry out in an attempt to kill any bugs.you're getting too much bad advise. do not put your indoor plant outside in the sun.
