I dont think China has any interest in getting involved with this shit. They recognize they need a market to sell stuff to in order for their economy to work. If your economy fails the government is likely to follow. Need to keep the masses employed and fed, otherwise they get into the streets and protest. I just don't see why they would take the risk, there isnt much to gain.

I agree, his days are numbered. The question is, how many people is he going to take with him?

Does he have a strong cabinet/backing? Is there some dude waiting in the wings to step in and continue down the putin path, if putin is no longer taking them that direction? In most nations, killing the head isn't going to dramatically change that countries directions/actions. If you took out the leader of the US, Canada, an EU nation...it wouldn't stop that nation from being engaged in a war as there are various succession plans and someone is always ready to fill whatever role. Is it the same there? It doesn't seem like it.

Not entirely, his grip on power is more like Mussolini than Hitler, there won't likely be a popular uprising. He does not have control of the army like back in the old days of the soviet union, there are no more political officers. It usually starts with a colonel of elite forces, someone in direct control of personally loyal troops, who can protect them while they get others to come one side. Vlad would send the air force against them, he dare not send troops or they might join the coup. If they can get citizens to surround them and then gain control of the TV in regions, it could spread quickly. Any forces sent against them could join them and Vlad might nuke his own country to stop it.
