DAY 44. 2 weeks left. ripen and flush ! Buds are. very dense and oil production off the charts. Gummy Bears is a Lemon skunk pheno. I have a sativa dom strawberry banana and another that is indica dom. The honey bananas looks to be 50/50 and smells like sweet bananas! the yield from the honey bananas would tempt me to run again despite the herm problems, but I don't think so! yield should be around 500 g for 740 watts when its done plus or minus little! Not bad for 1st run. I should get close to 600g on next run!
Love the tool box idea. Send me a pic of what it looks like on bottom. I have XML 350s. But I want to get into diy but I'm lost. I am a electrician and I would love to see what my wholesalers could acquire for me.

guys I'd be really be grateful for your advice.

I have a small space to work with (1.6m high x 1.2 deep x 2m wide) in a shed.

On previous advice i was planning on building my room out of foam board.

was gonna go HID lamps, but then i'd have to cool the space, and it would limit my crop in height due to keeping the light far enough away.

led is a solution, but from limited research i've been told that the right type of light is full spectrum white light, with the right lenses? and angle of? and the recommended brands are expensive.

I'd heard of the DIY thread. I'd be stoked if that could save me some money i have a close friend who is an electrician and could help me assemble the right components etc with the right plans and wiring, all i'd need is a schematic and a shopping list.

alternatively if you guys have an opinion on a vegeing, flowering or combined panels, that are reasonably priced and effective, I would be ETERNALLY grateful.

P.S. I work crazy shifts, and with kids, I'd really appreciate it if you flagged any responses so i could get to them later, I get lost in this awesome forum.

P.S.S. On reflection, unless there is a standardised tried and tested DIY LED setup out there I think opinions on a panel that can compare with the power of a 600w HID, with the versatility of flowering and veging ideally, (my current solution for seed to transplant and main chamber is a T5 panel, so 600w HID in main chamber for completing veging then flowering, and the T5 in the smaller seedling/cloning/baby vege stage). I can only really bug my electrician mate a few times, so if it's DIY it has to be seriously advantageous and reliable.

thank you so much guys.

if you don't wanna DIY then optic is the second best option

I would think you would need either a pair of 600wHps or a 1000w in that odd shaped space but height is definitely an issue.
Gonna take a lot of cob led's to get a good spread in there

u still need 900watts.If u buy it will cost ya between $2000 -$2500 unless you DIY! Don't buy subpar fixtures! U will regret it later on!

ok so i'm looking for a 900 watt panel. will that flower and vege for me?

so i'm looking at $2000 plus for a quality panel?

it's out of my price range.

how much will it cost to put one together? are those links from PSUAGRO the place to look?

P.S. I'm having trouble understanding the info in the links provided. How do I consolidate what I need to give the info to the person who will be building the panel?

can someone help me come up with a shopping list to provide my electrician? or a basic layout?

P.S.S. i'm such a noob i'm overwhelemed i don't know where to start with this side of the project

hi guys
tell me, I'm going to the right choice or not?
the area for growing - 5.18 sq.ft (2.83x1.83ft). I want use 4 x CXA3070 to get the full 200W light. It's enough for my area? I want to buy here http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Freeshipping-1pcs-Cree-XLamp-CXA3070-led-74-117W-COB-EasyWhite-5000K-Warm-White-3000K-LED-Chip/2052849889.html AB-BIN or z4-BIN 3000K 80CRI.
And 4 drivers LPC-60-1400 from here http://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-MEAN-WELL-LPC-60-Series-LPC-60-1400-60W-single-output-switching-LED-power-supply/1854574026.html
It's ok? with these components can I get the full 200W output of light and whether it is sufficient for the veg and bloom for my area?

guys was hoping to split that space into two chambers, one 1.2m x 1.2m, the other 1.2m x 0.8m
Couldn't he get away with one RW150 in the small side for veg and two in the larger side for flower?
http://www.a51led.net/product/rw150

Alternatively you could go with an Inda-gro 420/Pontoon combo on the larger side and a 200 on the smaller side

dude the inda-gro setup looks sweet, but is almost double my total budget.

this LED adventure is starting to become an expensive dream.

the area 51 panels, assuming i'd need 3 about equal my total budget for the project

I was hoping to get away with a $1200 australian total budget for the project.

Is that unrealistic with led panels?
