I saw that data, its PPFD, intensity at different distances, used to determine footprint and hanging height.
That's NOT efficiency (umoles/joule, PPF/watt or even lumens/watt).

People come here bash the shit out of things and ask for specs for what reason? You don't seem to care for the lights so why ask?
At a minimum the se450 produces the same as go green 6 cob lights. A minimum! Go bash them
i'm not bashing, i'm looking for info. have always appreciated amares design for a wide/fat spectrum,
BUT unfortunately efficiency trumps spectrum, and without that info I can't recommend to growers that want a prebuilt light.

It's how they are driven that's what makes them different. When ran hard lowers efficiency. The higher the efficiency the higher the price.

Ppf/w , umol/j is what counts on a grow fixture........tell Victor to break out that info.
If he actually has tested them in an integrating sphere as stated earlier, he has the #s.....No fighting necessary!

This I do not have. I seen this once before but I really didn't look at that deep into it as my space is small and not some big warehouse.Does every company use this? If they are using the same high end cree lights and more or less same driver wouldnt they all be near the same besides at what efficiencity that they are being ran at?

I was following a few using this, they are really nice design on them. I almost bought 2 of them to fill some gaps on the sided of my lights. Just very easy to put in with other square units.

AMARE SE450UVB: MSRP$1145 @450w = $2.54/w (actual ~500w) = $2.29/w
A51: MSRP$495 @110w = $4.50/w
Go Green: MSRP@$799 @300w = $2.66
PLC: MSRP$799 @300w = $266/w

That's what I understood, they should all be very similar. If one is 2-3 % less efficient I couldn't care less if it suited my needs better. This is how it all started btw. I realized Victor wasn't a salesman looking for my money either. He offered assistance and did it with a smile. In my situation I would purchase his lights no matter the cost. Which I do believe are priced very well. After th 4/20 sale I beat the price of all the other companies offering similar lights. The best coverage, customer service and warranty. Then add in all the other features like top bin cree monochromes and uv.
What's fucked up is my order is large and delayed a little. I just offered him more money to divide the shipments and send it out partially. I was willing to pay double the shipping. His reply " it's not about the money" the next hour I got a shipping notification. What ever he strings he pulled he did it to help.

I agree 100%. But some people like them hard facts on sticky notes for them. Tbh I am happy with my order (cept that I am still waiting like you) for the same reasons. But in fairness there are 1000000x companies that make some interesting claims. So for people who do the dyi and want the hard numbers I can understand that.
Just wish some of them was a bit nicer when they asked heh. Makes you feel like they are attacking you when they demand things.
Depends on the unit you are asking about. Their current 450 models are using LSD:

Same drivers PLC uses as well.
They are near the same as mean well drivers just are not UL certified. But that doesn't matter too much they are going to full meanwell.
Their next shipment of 450s will be using meanwell drivers. Their pro9 and I think their SE250(new models) are using meanwell.
And I do not have the stats on their other units so this is for their 450 unit as that was the one I was interested in. 47% efficiency @~50w per COB(500w from wall)

None of the cob fixture manufacturers have tested in a sphere yet? not that I'm aware of or they are not telling

I'll give you an example, look at the nextlight model #s differences between the mega (2.1ppf/w)and mini(1.7ppf/w), all tested in a sphere=== the mini is driving the samsung leds harder and has a pmma diffuser lens.
fluence spyder x, nextlight mega have been tested properly and are just over 2umol/j...

the variance in efficiency from gogreen, tasty, plc, amare and fluence can be quite large, potentially as high as 40% deviation. Different bins, different drivers, different currents and different cooling systems each alone can easily lead to a 10% deviation. so if I am a greedy cost cutting mfg, I can choose the lowest bin (-10%), use a cheap driver (-10%), run at a high current (-10%) and skimp on heatsinks (-10%).

Yeah I read the price before to make that thing... That's gotta be some mad coin to test in a unit like that.
Thats a bad ass sounding light. They don't give too much on it yet but I really like the idea that you can customize with an app on your phone. I bet thats going to be good chunk though. And yeah, they really do not give any information on their site. And yeah I read your last part there about the email and just lost full interest now haha. I hate when they do that, I had a few led places like that..
I did like the fluence alot. But the thing as a learner here to this ever growing LED I got turned off. I saw their one unit was saying it was only suited for people who are using CO2 because of their high IR. But they are a really cool design, I also didnt find good measurements of their unit on their site. I could of looked harder or e-mail them but I also wanted to try COBs since I see so much around them.
You ever compare it to your HPS? During winter I will do a vs of my 600 HPS (Dont have a 1k) vs the amare 450 unit. I also plan to vs it against SS880(more or less). I know they are a bit old, but I do like to see how they compare. I think others may find it interesting, if not I sure as hell will
You know I only seen a bit on the spec king, so I cant comment too much on it. Got a picture of what its doing?
