Eh. The other half of the fossil fuels industry is the plastic and chemical industry. We can Still make stuff but DuPont needs to be put in check. And the way we harvest the oil is fucked.
Solar is not enough. There need to be individual solutions for different areas some sun wind some hydro powered some wave powered and more at home or in the neighborhood generation. It's all possible plus it will grow if allowed to as technology does.

Yeah but if we where burning that instead of fossil we would have a different set of problems. It has it's place in a clean world but is not "the best kind"
Much of that too long list is stuff that can be made from recycled or natraul alternatives. In fact in most cases those products where made by other means before they where made by dupont
