I'm force flowering outdoors - anyone else?

hey
ill tell you my friend bought a small green house and we put it up in a couple hours depending on how mechanically inclined you are
keeps em warm on the cold nights and throw a tarp over it whenever you want makeing correct light cycle
had multiple harvest of outdoor bud s
just an option ????

a little update for you bud whores that have been following this thread. i have started to flush, so the plants are getting the yellow ugly leaves. i have recently had some issues with bud worms on the ice, which totally sucks. i didn't spray them with BT because i thought the doktor doom foggers (fogged them twice while inside at night - week 2 and week 4) would be enough, but i was wrong. the foggers have kept all other bugs off, but not the catapillars. i can't say i blame these litter fuckers for going after the ice though... here are some pics of the ice.

i just recently started to battle mold, so now i see why certain plants are not listed as outdoor strains... i have cut the mold out of the buds that i have found it in, but i think it will be best to pull a little bit early so i don't lose too much more.

nah bro, they don't list them like that because of mold.

you're force flowering in the time of year where humidity can fluctuate . . . towards september and october the humidity is more consistent so less chance of mold.

either way those buds are looking way better than mine. are they in pots or do you have the pots buried or are they in the dirt or what?

mine had problems because of heat stress, and one hermaphrodited because of it. halting bud growth.

however my outdoor garden will do fine as this was only a heat stress issue.

they are in pots on cement. if i had to do it over again, i think i would have placed an oscilating fan in the bathroom where i forced the 12/12. it seems like the fart fan wasn't enough.

Your plants are way bushier then mine is. I had to put the plant inside my friends house because the county mowed the grass of the forest for the first time ever. So I hope it doesn't think it's flowering just yet. I won't get much

I topped each of these plants once right before flowering, so that's probably why they appear bushier than yours...unless you're growing a sativa dominant plant.

very nice grow papi, lots of sweet lookin buds you got there. that sucks to hear about the bud rot, hope the damage stays minimal. gl.

yeah, pulling early is a safe call for damage control. i'm really excited about the ice (the bud worms seem pretty excited about it as well), since this is the first time i've grown that outside. the sugar on these is unreal for outdoor, at least in my experience. here's some shots of lower nugs about mid-branch halfway down. the pics don't even do justice to the amount of crystals, but when you catch certain angles in the sunlight...well...let's just say i feel funny in my pants and leave it at that.

well yes, there are some tips i can give you and they are as follows:

1. if you bring the plants inside to force flower, make sure air circulation is fantastic, not just ok

2. spray those mofos with BT up until week 4 or so. DON'T just assume that bombing them a few times will take care of the worms (crafty little motherfuckers...they're kinda like rats)

3. make sure the pots they are in will be large enough to take them through flower.

4. don't plant in dark pots.

if you have any other questions ask me, but this was my first time doing this force flower outdoors, so i'm kind of a newb. if i choose to do this again, there are certain things that i will do better, but it is a total commitment until week 6 or so (unless you are doing sativa).

I'm wishing I did this force flowering thing earlier...too late for me now...my girls are all like 4+ feet tall/around...can't find a barrel big enough for them :( Plus they'd double/triple in size during flowering, right?

ok guys, Im on the same boat as U are.So in september is too cold in my country and im thinking of starting force flower.only, my plant is in ground(check it out, link below) and its a bushy grower cas i have been topping it in early vegg and lst training.
So Im thinking that in the evening or so, i go and cover my plant, and after some hours i go and take the cover off when its dark outside-then its a lot easier to me thn running around early mornings.Could U check my journal and give advice what cover i should use, cas it fucking wide and on a moat or some shit:hump:.Thinking of starting the "program-give your plant only 12 hours of light":) in the start of august.
what ya think??

looks fantastic PAPI i am forcing mine aswell bringing one plant in at 630 pm and covering one up with a 55 gal drum and uncovering and bringing back out at 930 pm they are both looking so fucking beautiful, i have had no troubles yet. Yours look awesome i hope mine turn out the way yours did, keep up the good work.
