The way that waterproof connector is installed, makes it all but waterproof. The cable sleeve has to go all the way inside so the crimping ring can seal the mofo shut when you tighten the nut.WHAT ABOUT THAT FUSE BOX-LIKE THING??? DO I NEED THAT??? THIS THING HERE...View attachment 4368621
Just kidding...That's in perfect English....
This is why i call myself the GHETTO GROWER,everything is done in a hurry cause you never know how much time you have...those wires should never be exposed like that
Haha!!! No applause, just money!!! You guys are way too serious... Life is good when you can laugh at yourself...do you also want applause for that?
If you have stranded wire, there's a chance that you may miss some. some may get pushed aside when you jam them in the connector, or broken when you strip the wire.????? ENGLISH PLEASE BRO!!!XD
Thank you for explaining that... I have no type of electrical background and i didn't understand what he meantIf you have stranded wire, there's a chance that you may miss some. some may get pushed aside when you jam them in the connector, or broken when you strip the wire.
Soldering flows into the nooks and crannies and makes good connections.
Heat shrink is like a rubber tube that you slide over the connection (put it on before you connect the wires ) then you hit it with a heat gun or a torch from far away and the heat makes it shrink around the connection. Marine grade is just more water-proof, which would help in a humid environment.
I was on a ship - not an electrician, but you got to help out with or at least see what other people were paid to do. (and get them to help fix your broke stuff)Thank you for explaining that... I have no type of electrical background and i didn't understand what he meant
Sucks to be you!!!Well, Who's got the damn fried chicken then !?.......misleading thread title
Fuck, I'm hungry, stupid vegetarian wife
How do you use it?Yes, but nothing beats a legit soldering job with marine grade heatshrink tubing.
I was looking at that on Amazon earlier... The sleeves that is...soldering
heat shrink tubing

Maybe a lot less than you think when you start messing up safety features like this... I mean you got the $10 fucking connector, at least use it correctly. This is why i call myself the GHETTO GROWER,everything is done in a hurry cause you never know how much time you have...
