Thats a good cert to have. A lot of structural welding going on now is dual shield (flux and gas). Id bet you'd have no problem landing a job. California bay are craiglist has a ton og welding jobs from time to time.

Likely not much right now since prices have dropped, but check into the northern shale fields and make some contacts as a back up

Dual shield is what im cert. in, structual welding is what i know.

Shale fields? Im going to google now.

Exactly how im feeling with myself. I wasnt meant to grow up and die in this town, doing what my dad does, and living that traditional life. This is not me. I need to see things, meet people, and continue to make my life an adventure. The adventure here has stopped thoe, its time to keep moving. Glassblowing is huge deal to me. I need to get going here soon i feel. Its the one passion in life i have had non stop now for almost 12 years, i WANT it! I feel as if im going to be an amazing glassblower who brings something new to the table. Ive finally got the equipment, now i need to find a mentor. But it will take work to get there, that i know.
