I'm still having some plant problems...

MG soil tends to be too hot for this plant, especially when it's young. It's over fert. cal mag won't help. repotting into more MG soil won't help. there will continue to be browning of the leaves, but maybe the plant will survive. ffof is a better soil for this kind of plant. it's made for this kind of plant.
when i repotted i ended up using coast of main bar harbor its organic so figured it would be gentle on the plants ..i will never use mg soil again ..smh

MiracleGro's organic choice shouldn't be too bad if you add 40% perlite. It's the only one I would consider. The others are either too hot with nutrients, or contain vermiculate "moisture control" which is typically unwanted unless you grow under the radiant heat of HID.

I think the lack of perlite in that soil contributes to the overwatering symptoms people are seeing. I think your foliar feeding has created the leaf condition you see now.
see thats the thing the mg i got was organic it said but moisture control and i didn't add any perlite ..done with that goon use ffof or coast of main bar harbor with 30 percent perlite added

I used to use mg exclusively. They are fine. They are on the hot side.

The key to using their products is keeping it on the dry side. The more you water, the more they burn.

I actually never had that many problems from it. It is more a cannabis community thing about not using mg.

They have pallet after pallet at the box store for a reason. All the years I used it, I planted everything from flowers to vegetables. Everything grew in it just fine.

As far as hot soil, it is not a problem. Maybe with an auto it would be.

Every year I top my vegetable garden off with manure, alfalfa, garden tone, and a few other things. Most my plants love it. My beans don't. They look like crap and burn. They snap right out of it and take off.

The same will happen with cannabis. If it sprouted in hot soil and made it to a foot tall, it is OK. If it didn't kill the seedling it won't kill the bigger plant.

The moisture control is good as is. It controls against over and under water.

I have some house plants in it. Water runs right through it. It stays moist though. I quit buying mg products. I did grow one auto in a bag of it. It loved it.

Root systems should be established going into flower. May want to revert to veg for a couple weeks and then flip in order to reduce lagging flower development. Plants need healthy roots and leaves before they can produce flowers. Also they need a wider temperature variation.

I agree. I would veg longer to burn some N up before flower.

They would be fine if you switched back. In the spring it gets warm early enough that cannabis will flower then go back to veg.

It will make more buds.

Of course, make the suggested corrections and they will make it to the end. Your choice. Either way feel free to ask questions.

thought i just got another tent and a t5 light think if i just take that one out and put back is a reasonable solution bc all my other plants are pretty much perfect ..and when it heals i can scrog it to get the same height to equal the height of new ones that I'm going to start as soon as beans come

I use metal in my vegetable garden on peppers, tomatoes, and beans. I've never seen any problems come from it.
