I use botanicare pure blend pro and all additives, not the cheapest line, and it cost just over $1.10 per ounce of dried buds in nutes.

I grew in soil & didn't water them for two weeks
........ F*ucking soil, they died 
I mean really .. it isn't rocket science 
You'll see just as many people screw up hydro as you do soil.

I've been a gardener for over 30 years and I just plain like growing plants in dirt. And so I shall. To each his own. Do what makes you happy and don't worry about the talking heads.

Well I've done both, I love a nice big organic soil bush, but I normally run a 30 plant ebb and flow SOG. Its easier for me to get a scedule down, and a perpetual cycle going. I harvest 10 plants every 3 weeks. Works great but they are only 25-35g each. When I grew soil I vegged for like 2 months and they were nice bushs. Both worlds have advantages, its all comes down to what your current needs are as long as you aren't and idiot and can learn each method.

Coco/hempy works spectacularly. All of the benefits of hydro, with virtually none of the negatives. Produces big yields and is so easy a caveman could do it.

Try it without the full lineup sometime. I have tried both.. noticed no difference.
Dyna 7-9-5 from seed to flower kills it on yield.... H&G (Base only) is a great balance of all... yield, density, smell, flavor, etc... Cheap. If you want to "boost", then add a cheap PK boost. Most nutes like H&G already contain more PK fert....
3-12-6... 0-10-10... whatever.
I haven't tried every nute line... but Canna, H&G, Dyna... additives make no improvement in yield, quality, etc.. just $$.
Canna "Boost"... i don't know... I would rather light a joint with a $50 than purchase a bottle,

Your not doing it right that why it sucks never done soil, hydro is to easy. Net pot custom made outta walmart 72cent pot. Meduim= polished rocks from dollar general(2.5 bags used=$3+tax). Res. I went for the $3.75 5g tote that was gray but painted black($3.50) Expensive...ya if you want it to be. My nute line ha mg orchid food(veg) and mg bloom booster(flower) from walmart less than $15 for the both. No burn gotta love it. Straight tap water no ph up or down. Just dechlorine drops and bubbles. And boom I'm glued to the couch. Expensive...useless...ha its to easy

no no no sorry but hydro pisses all over dirt 4sure, its simple and no mess and if you use trays like in my picks you get no leaks at all never.... simples

i personaly grow in soil but a few of my mates grow hydro and the all go on about it non stop and a few weeks back he got some blue cheese clones of mee and i had a set and his plants are 2-3x the size of mine look bushier and have thicker stems, im not sying this is any way a test between hydro because we both use different nutes and different growing methods but if i did have the money i would go hydro as watering 5 15 litre buckets every 4 days is a massive pain in the arse

I find hydro to be a pain in the ass. You can get hydro-like benefits with soil-like easy growing, with coco, treat it like soil, big pots.

well that wouldn't cut it for us.. honestly when I posted this my partner had just lost 50 gal nute on the floor. don't ask how cuz if it can be fucked up he will for sure do his best to makeit happen. he is also the guy who spent all the money on equipment so I guess he has that right. this time should be fine. who was I tryin to kid, lol who the fuck would choose dirt over hydro anyway

Lots of people choose dirt over hydro. I'm currently growing hydro, but completely appreciate the benefits of dirt. The biggest being its very very low maintenance unlike hydro which requires daily monitoring.

My little 5 gallon buckets produce some big plants of kick ass weed. A few strains have been harder to control but overall my FFOF is headed on down that long lonesome highway.

There is no better way then soil. Being we get FFOF for 6 bucks a bag and have endless good base soil in our backyard hydro is only in our future for experimentation and nothing more. If you don't have enough space or time to grow what you need in soil then go hydro, you will get through veg a little quicker and maybe have 10% more yield with hydro but it's not worth the time and effort for me.
I find new tech in growing interesting like aero, but I just don't live in an environment where i need to grow in anything other then soil. I could even grow outside but we just have so much wildlife here and our grow area is so big now it's not needed. I would like to build a greenhouse so I could get some daytime light in, maybe next year or two.

UNDEREDUCATED is definately the case here, this is the 1st post ive ever seen on a weed forum that someone is gonna go up against the world of weed with hydro vs. soil saying hydro sucks........ BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!, learn how to grow before you post a moronic statement like this IMHO!!!!
