if you were expecting pictures.. sorry for the let-down. the camera that I bought clearly stated on the box that it had 10x zoom with macro mode.. well, once I got home with it.. I went into the menu on the camera.. and sure enough I couldn't find the macro setting. Long story short.. I searched Google for my camera model.. and I'll be damned if it DOES NOT have a macro setting.. therefore my closeup shots are total shit. I mean I can zoom in.. but its going to come out blurry as a 60year old drunks eyeballs on a Friday night.
anyhow.. I just wanted to share the importance of curing to those who don't understand the importance of it.
I've done both.. I've cured and not cured before.. and the difference is astonishing! Take for instance.. my mids plant that I just finished harvesting 2 weeks ago. The buds were air dried for 3 days. After the 3 days.. I checked on them and they seemed to have mainly only moisture in the middle stem.. where the bud would bend.. but it would spring back at a medium rate of speed. This is where I want all my buds.. before I start curing. The moisture in the middle stem.. thats left behind from drying.. is the moisture the buds will use/need to properly cure.
Anyhow, after only 1.7 weeks of curing.. these things already taste absolutely sweet. They have a beautiful taste.. not much on the smell just yet.. the smell is pretty much neutral which tells me something very important.. this tells me that most of if not possibly all of.. the chlorophyll has evaporated. But the taste has already changed significantly.. really hard to describe.. but the smoke is no longer hard on the throat.. ahh its just nice.
This also just goes to show.. that when you grow your own product.. the ending taste/smell of the product is going to be 10x as better as some commercially grown herb.
So, if your not growing your own yet.. get too it!!! You've no idea what your missing.. I mean the difference between what I grew.. and what it tasted like when I bought it.. is just astounding.
Anyhow, just wanted to share that with everyone. Just trying to help educate..
peace.
