Well you have plenty of strains to choose. Brick mentioned a few. Then you got a bunch of nl crosses and afghan crosses.. Very potent and mostly indica.

Don't worry pal .... it's getting to be winter here so I will be staying in my 2750 sq. foot "shack on the lake" a good bit until spring.

As for bears. We don't have much of a population of them here anymore. About 2 miles up the road from me, where it dead ends at a game preserve, there is a small family or two of black bear, but they seldom roam down my way. In nearly 24 years of living here I have only seen them maybe a half dozen times max.

The lake is actually a 50,000 acre reservoir with roughly 825 miles of shoreline that was built for flood control and hydroelectric generation so the lake level does fluctuate. Every handful of years it will reach a very high level, once less than a half foot from the top of the dam, and when that happens much of the game preserve ends up under water and that is when the few nearby bear will venture out more and raid gardens and trash cans etc. That is when I have seen them the most, though they might cruise the area at night when I would then not see them.

A bit of advice for you ... if you have bears in your area ... they can smell when girls menstruate and if you have any bears around and if they are of the aggressive type it will attract them, so if I were you I would be sure to stay inside for a handful of days each month when you're riding the cotton pony.
Haha! Game-set-match ... Brick Top!

Heres what i'm looking for
-indica or mostly indica
-grows well in soil
-I'll be using a 400w mh/hps with side cfls
-good taste
-short flowering time
-fairly easy (i've heard some strains like SLH can be awesome, but at the hands of an expert)

I'm not too concerned with yield or potency(although they don't hurt), I just want something with a nice flavor. I'm currently thinking HighGrade Seeds NL #5 or blueberry, Sensi seeds maple leaf indica or barney's farm LSD.
The two best tasting, easiest strains I've grown are both hybrids. The Church (Greenhouse Seed Co.) and Bubblegum (Serious Seeds). Both varieties had Indica dominant phenos that blew my mind for taste, potency, and ease of growth. The Church has a very unique floral taste to it, and the Bubblegum is ..... well, bubblegum! Like you bit in to that stick of gum in the pack of baseball cards. Awesome!

Hope you find a good one!
