Indoor Growing Systems

So You wana grow indoors do ya ? Over the next 3 days or so I am going to explain different systems to you, now these will be basic but the best part about growing is modifying the system and changing it to make your life easier.

Many people that grow marijuana prefer to grow in pots. However a supercharged plant grown in a pot has its roots as a limiting factor. Hydroponics (with liquid or dry mediums) and especially aeroponics maximize the resources to the roots. The pot grower will have to maximize all the other resources and the environment for a supercharged garden to work.

So, you might be asking which is the best way of feeding the roots ?? There are opinions on the topic that you can post below but here is a scale you can use:

LOW TECH AND EASY METHODS

1)Regular Pot of backyard dirt (never used anymore)
2) Pot of houseplant mix (good for flower pots)
3) Pot of sunshine mix (Good for indoor grows, widely used)
4) Pot of modified sunshine mix (for the little something extra)

BETTER SYSTEMS
1) Rockwool cubes (good for cuttings or clones)
2) Rockwool bulk (very good for production growing)
3) Drip – Flood (ebb & flow) – NFT ( High-Tech production)
8) EIN Geddi aeroponics ( wet sump and spray)

HIGH TECH and HIGH YIEL SYSTEMS
1) Quasi Eroponics ( DRY sump and spray)
2) Full aeroponics (research technology)

Over the next few days I will be drawing setups and they will be posted below.[/u]

This is the newbie indoor grow:

  • The most comming grow system
  • Cheap and easy
  • Ambien CO2
  • Low Production
  • This system is as simple as possible, with no maximization of roots or lights

The Intermediate Grow System:

  • More Complex
  • More Expensive
  • Average Light
  • Average nutrition
  • Average CO2
  • Average root O2

This one is a little more complex but it is worth it

  • A complex system
  • Good nutrition
  • Big investment
  • Good CO2
  • Good lighting
  • Good root O2

In the past i have helped a few friends of mine grow marijuana but we never used anything as complexas this. We simply used an old fish tank with special lights which where left on for 12 hours a day. A couple of our plants died but the crop we had left wasnt too bad. It was harsh tasting but that may have been because we didnt hang it up in the paper bags.

The more power of your lights the more THC will be produced in the budding stage, a good growroom lasts a long time

Safety always been an issue , good equipment increases your crop , especially if you do not have a lot of room to grow it can be worth.

But yes you can grow marihuana on different levels, grow for fun , or grow to get the best smoke of your life ;) I go for the fun of it.

These systems seem pretty complex for "newbie's". I've never seen any grow room's that are as complex as these. All the people I know go for a cheap grow. These systems are more for the wealthy newbie. My grow rooms and boxes cost less than 50 dollars to build.

is an indoor growing system good or is the weed not grow as much and not as potent if grown outside
Outdoor grows in the right climate can produce higher yeilds, but THC content is always much higher in indoor grows(MH/HPS veg, HPS flower, CO2 enriched) that are done properly.

If you have an extra 2300 dollars to spend, you could always buy this supercloset. its got a ebb n flow and a bottom auro chamber. Its efficient for me and very discreet. I dont know many people with that much extra money though so, keep dreaming.

Props to rollitup. I'm totally new to this, I've never grown anything this complex and just having someone draw out a set-up is very helpful. Thanks!
