Much has happened since, and now there is a "faction" which asserts it has legitimate authority to harm "individuals" for the sake of its own gains. And despite the blatantly fallacious nature of nearly all of their attempts to self-justify, they continue to back all of their assertions with more and more violence against We The People.

I consider them infidels and usurpers, hijackers even; certainly not the rightful leaders of this nation.

Rob Roy almost has it right. Unfortunately, the government has to have a portion of itself be coercive to be able to deal with certain members of society. It is a necessary evil to a society. However, those laws and situations should be as small as possible. We have gone way beyond it.

First of all, there is a law or guideline that demands that all legislation be understandable by the average citizen. Well, that is obviously being broken every day with 2000 page legislation that nobody reads.

Second there is a law or guideline that says that laws should not be made unless there is harm to another party. If you speed down the road you are only offering POTENTIAL harm, not actual harm to another party. However, the government has decided that it can legislate and fine you based on the potential harm you might cause. This is against the basis of the constitution.

Another is that the government has no right to tell you what to do with your body or what or what not to put into it. The government should not be involved in the abortion debate at all. It should not be dealing with healthcare in any way, it should not be regulating and legislating the use of alcohol, tobacco nor any other drug. Yes, every drug should be legal to a consenting adult with advised consent from a doctor.

The government has no right to know what your wages are much less tax you on them. Any government needs income and it could be generated from the revenue of Commerce, not stolen from people's tables before they even see it. There should be a flat sales tax to cover it and no IRS, no annual tax reporting, no garnished wages or stolen bank balances, no threat of jail time for not contributing enough.

I could go on and on and on. Our constitution is a pretty amazing document. There are items that it didnt include like voting for blacks and women that were properly amended. However, the federal government has taken the very tool used to constrain it and perverted it into something that allows the government to get into every crevice of our lives. The founders knew it would happen, they wrote about it and said the people will have to rise up when they have had enough.

When I say I made x I mean that is the amount I put in my pocket after expenses. Are you begging me to give you a primer in how to be a small business owner? It is easy, you just sponge off your wife for money and lie around on a couch all day watching weeds grow while feeling sorry for yourself. You should know, you are an expert at it!!

The Republican party has failed more than the Democratic party. I blame them for leaving their principals out of fear of losing elections. The Republicans are RINO'S now and all we have are Democrat and Democrat-Lite.

Anyone who is still partisan like Hannity is wasting my time. At least Rush Limbaugh is still entertaining. Hannity is just shrill and annoying.

I have been moving toward libertarian for about 10 years now. I used to say conservative until I realized that conservatism had no problem with legislation to make things the way they want them. I want less legislation, less government involvement, etc. The 2 parties are just fighting over how much power they can steal from the people. I am done with that crap.

Jobs don't exist to earn Joe Schmo money, they exist because a business needs labour to function. They recruit and people apply willingly for the job at the advertised salary/wage.

The employee is there to serve the business owners requirements, not the opposite way around.
