But it is not the 7 bucks, it is the hassle of having to go refill it more often.
But I do think CO2 done right and especially from the start,is worthwhile from an investment point of view.
Night time temps can be used to increase or decrease stretch... So, it is just a tool.

I’m working on getting it all dialed in since I don’t have an environment controller. No plants inside the room yet. Initially I’ll probably have to go in and adjust my AC right after lights come on and right before lights go off. Dehumidifier will stay on the same setting and kick on and off as needed. How big is your dehumidifier? I went with a quest 105 if you would like to check it out. They are expensive but you deffinately want to go bigger rather than smaller with AC and dehumidifier.

Do not charge your room one hour before lights on. There’s cells in the leafs called stomas , you want to let them open & “wake up” at normal atmosphere ppm . After about 45-60min charge the space.
I run 1300ppm and let the room bring it down to 1100ppm n then bump back to 1300, 2 hours before lights out the C02 is cut and the room brings it back to normal ppm.

@OP Id just run your space as you are and start collecting the parts to do a sealed room right . Mini split, Dehumitifer, CO2 , lots of fans .
I don’t think I’ll ever want to go back to a vented room again.

Appreciate the info. I was just told about “charging the room” so to speak a few days ago by a friend who has been doing this a lot longer than me so it seemed like a great idea. Makes sense what you said about the stomas. I am taking a shot at the true living organics/ no till style of growing so I am looking to replicate as close to a perfect outdoor growing environment as possible inside my garage.

Thanks bro it’s a really heavy one as well! Haha. We are trying to figure out the best way to mount or hang this sucker. It will be opposite side of the room as the plants. Can I utilize the waste water from it or would it be better to just drain it outside?

Starting out, most people try to do too much, and this is why they fail.
KISS keep it simple stoner, as you advance you can add to what your doing .
But C02 is the last thing you should add to a grow, you will only get the really good advantages if your grow is dialed in.

The reason I said it is good to start with it is that you will spend the money you would have spent on venting fans and ducting, and can put it to better use.
Don't expect to be pulling grams per Watt the first time around, but with all the info available online these days, some newcomers do very well.

Been using General Organics, Botanicare ect for the past 5-6 years and finally got rid of the bottle a couple grows ago. Got by with teas ,regular ro water and a couple top dresses through out. Looking at switching to beds and incorporating worms into this grow. Spent way too long in tents before I decided to build a room and seal it. This has been a long evolutionary process for me lol. Always learning and making adjustments.

Just put it to waste, you can reuse it , but it can cause problems later on, just not worth the saving .
1” square aluminum tubing
(I forget the measurements but can get them for you tonight if you like)
1” eye bolts x 4
1” eye hooks x 4 . And chain
Use the feet to attach the tubing
The ends are just tape so when I bump my head , it just hurts n doesn’t cut.

I’m going to have my mini split installed in the next few days but I’ve just got a couple question..? Does the a/c blower emit any co2 at all or must I vent occasionally to ensure sufficient co2? Would it be better just to leave my fan running 24/7 anyway? Although I would think it would cause the a/c to cycle more regularly seeing as how it would be constantly sucking the cooled air out of the room? I’m a bit at odds with this as it would also be sucking cooler outside air in so maybe the a/c would cycle less? I was thinking of setting a cycle timer on my exhaust fan so that it comes on for 15mins every hour or two hours to replenish the co2.. thoughts on this? Once I’ve got my temps in check I’ll start looking at co2 supplementation options..
