Intake fan ?

Whenever your exhaust fan is running. Most don't need an intake fan as the exhaust blowing hot air out the top pulls fresh air in the bottom.

I run the exhaust and intake fan on the same timer and adjust the timer according to the temp/humidity needs and that stays constant lights on/off. I run the intake through the bottom and snake it around 1/2 way around the tent and up one of the corner poles and about half way up the pole i tie off the intake line with a zip tie and let it hang down almost to the floor. I poke holes through the line that snakes around from where it comes in the tent to where it starts going up the pole 1/2 way around the floor of the tent to allow a little bit better air disbursement throughout the tent.

Thanks for that info... well i plan to keep my exhaust running at all time cause i have a carbon filter to keep the smell down
Where are you exhausting your warm air from your tent? Outside? just make sure your intake line is drawing nice fresh cool air and not pumping the warm air back in the tent. Both of my tents pump the warm air outside and the intakes draw from across the room so i always have nice fresh cool air running into the tents.

i was planning to vent the warm air into the attic. other than that i don't have any other place i could vent it

Warm humid air in a cold attic will condense and cause black mold Don't do it.

You can install a roof vent and run your duct through the attic to that and let it vent outside.

yeah i could see about doing that.... if my grow tent is going to be in the closet could i vent it into the bedroom ?

Venting into the bedroom will gradually warm the intake air. Vent it outside. A wall vent or roof vent are the classy way to do it. The ghetto way is a board cut to fit in an open window with a hole cut and the vent installed in there but it's not stealthy.

Thats what i was gonna say man if its run into the attic already its fuck all to punch a hole and install a proper roof vent dude. You will regret it if you dont. My problem being where I vented is visible from the road and I am wondering how much of an ice wall I’m gonna have there this winter. It’s my first winter growing so we will see I guess

Yep, to re-mediate mold damage in an attic is a VERY costly situation. The home would be unsaleable like that and unlivable also.

okay Thanks i will figure something out. maybe cut a hole in the wall and vent into a different room ?
Dude it’s a must to remove all that warm air from your house. It will cause nothing but problems. Go through the attic. If your not a handyman then find one of your buddies to do it or YouTube it. It’s not hard if you have the right tools. How big is the tent and how much you plan on growing?

i could run the duct hose to the dryer vent that my dryer goes to would that work ?
yup just buy a gate or "Y" the same size as your line is or rig up something that will work but hell ya you can use the vent. Second pic is my flu in the garage. It’s got a similar attachment that you will need to join 2 to 1
