If you can get to the command prompt, you can run a trace route to determine where it is slowing down.I got 55ms Ping? Is that good?
should be under 20 ms.I got 55ms Ping? Is that good?
I was thinking it was your age or something looking at StonedPony's.should be under 20 ms.
Okay we can scratch that off the list.ok switched to WPA pre shared key. nothing has changed.

You may get to your ISP in 20 ms, but the standard for reporting slowness is 100 ms.should be under 20 ms.
try this>tracert
Usage: tracert [-d] [-h maximum_hops] [-j host-list] [-w timeout]
[-R] [-S srcaddr] [-4] [-6] target_name
Options:
-d Do not resolve addresses to hostnames.
-h maximum_hops Maximum number of hops to search for target.
-j host-list Loose source route along host-list (IPv4-only).
-w timeout Wait timeout milliseconds for each reply.
-R Trace round-trip path (IPv6-only).
-S srcaddr Source address to use (IPv6-only).
-4 Force using IPv4.
-6 Force using IPv6.
thats what happened when i put "tracert" means nothing to me lol.
No adapter in my computer, i built it.
I already powercycled.

The tracert shows you the response times from router in your path, it actually uses a multiple pings to derive the times.also right now i am plugged into just the modem.
