Hey Jefferson. Just dropping in to tell you nice grow. I'm a fellow ebb and flow / flood and drain grower too. It's the most compatible growing method for my life, and it gives me a lot of control over my grows. I too mostly just top off my res, and have gotten away from doing weekly res changes like I'd do in the past.

Anyways, just wanted to say I'm subbing up and looking forward to the content.

I'll be finishing out this grow, and doing one more in this home made tent. Then the real work will begin as I will be moving my new room into a shipping container (10x8x 8 ). So I will be framing it myself ( first ever framing project), wiring and spray foaming it. Installing a SPA breaker box with a 30amp GFCI and two 15A circuits. This can just attach to an external generator plug outlet I have on my garage. Will be a bit of a learning curve, I have been thinking this am how to install a air intake, what kind of air intake, and I definitely need one I can adjust so I don't take in too much cold air when it is -30 out. Also need a really good bug screen for it.

Will you be changing your growing method as well?

or just moving your table and lights to the new room?

I'm just moving it because right now unless you buy specialty insurance that covers your medical grow, if your shit burns down and you have a total loss they will cancel for not informing them of the medical grow. However if you notify them then they will cancel your insurance and also notify your mortgage holder! So into a can it goes, cause my insurance would probably cost me 10k a year on this dump. I think Loyds is the only company in Canada offering coverage right now.

Oh wow you know, that's something I haven't put much thought into. We just moved into our new house 2 years ago, I built it myself, it would be devastating to lose everything and insurance say fu

So will same apply to detached garage I wonder? I plan to move my room to my garage once it's built, for now tho, it's still in the house .

Always something, can never be easy lol

TOTALLY!~ I thought I was done spending money. Same applies to any out building you want insured mate. A recent judgement in BC in favour of the insurance company in the case of a guy who upgraded his detached garage to 400AMP for his grow, did not inform them, burnt the fuck down, and he lost the whole structure with no reparations. Inform them at your peril though.
This is why I bought the shipping container. Not cheap 4+ k delivered, but it won't ever burn down or catch near-by structures on fire. And because it is under 108sq feet in ON you do not need a permit. Best check out your local by-laws though.

Believe it or not my local by-law says you have to be zoned light industrial to have a medical home grow. If they ever found out and talked to me about it I am filing a human rights complaint. You shouldn't have to sell the family house and move to a factory because you are sick and grow your medicine.

Oh - and my municipality is banning any kind of shipping container, but it won't pass until I already have mine. And mine qualifies as a shed to boot.

Such total bullshit governments and municipalities come up with.

Smart idea with the container, I am building a fairly large garage/work shop/ grow space, it will have a loft up top, it's gonna be insured, guess I'll just have to hope if disaster strikes it's not in the form of fire lol.

Fk me that's scary

Make the doors 8-10 feet high and 8 feet wide and you can get a container IN the garage :)

You can always call Loyds and tell them you live in the city next door, give them the specs but not your name and see what # they tell you. I know for me on the water it will be insane, so forget it. I pay almost 3k as it is for insurance.

Legal - yeah...right.

If you inform them of your grow or make ANY claim and they find your grow, they will likely cancel your insurance and notify any mortgage holder. FYI

Ya I'm more rural, land and houses are much cheaper to buy and build around here compared to the.city. I'm paying 1600/yr insurance for 3200ft living space in 2 yr old house.

Lloyds might only charge you double then? Might be worth it?
Ya def worth a phone call to check it out for sure.

I'm still waiting for my hc approval , not sure of normal time frame, nothing else they do is quick, Hopefully I have it within the next 4-6 weeks .

probably gonna go all rebel and just start while I'm waiting . Once both tents are done I can get the new room all set up. Got some seeds itching to be popped lol

Couple pics of day 50. Could not get a good shot of the GZ tonight or any good video. Goods shots of the Inzane and the Mango though. The Mango doesn't produce much but the smoke is AAAA

Hey thanks man. This grow I tried a weekly res change and it didn't get me better results. So I am going back to the old method. Stoked because that one bag of Mega Crop lasted me forever using that method. I really chew through the bag dumping it every week.
