Simply not true, Its not ' free stuff' its redirecting moneys that are being pissed away.

So the initial taking of the money without the consent of the individuals it's taken from isn't the problem? It's how the loot is spent that you disagree with?

Interesting.

Here let's see how that taking other persons stuff works in a couple of scenarios...

Granny is on her porch and Corso312 strolls up and lifts her pocketbook, he then goes and buys his friend a gun with the proceeds of Granny's purse. You would likely have a problem with that scenario I assume.

Let's try the one you like. Corso312 takes Grannies purse, buys himself a six pack but on the way home buys all the kids in the neighborhood ice cream. Do you think that good deed makes the initial theft okay?

Roy, I gotta get back to trimming in a few so I'll try to be brief.

That's about as bad as an analogy as I've seen.

You do understand that roads, bridges and thousands of other things are a necessity.. Right?

This isn't 1750 where taxes are not really needed.

What if the person making 30k is better off after no premiums or copays? They could be saving 5k a year.
COULD???? MAYBE ????? IF ????
If you make 30k right now you would qualify for subsidy eligibility...unless you live in one of those states who decided they did want to expand

incrementalism. Some change in healthcare, some change in minimum wage, some change in military spending, some change in education, then let the lobbyists take it all away in the form of attachments to the bill. Then claim victory. You put your right foot in, you put your right foot out, you put your left foot in and shake it all about. You do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around. That's what she's all about.

Again, you won't see gridlock but nothing will actually get done. She's the status quo candidate.

Still, better than anything coming from wing nuts.
and Bernie will do what ? besides raise taxes

Oh man, I'm not going to repeat what others said. I told you what I thought Clinton proposed. What do you think. Is it just the taxes?
taxes are the deal breaker and I don't vote for dreams that won't happen. I have yet to see anyone here tell me exactly what Bernie would do. I looked it up myself

Are you implying if a person breaks into your house, then forcibly subdues you, cracks open a keg of your beer and then offers you a mug of your own beer that everything is okay?

...Or are you unable to make any kind of distinguishing argument as to why it's wrong for you or I to take Grannies purse but just fine if somebody declaring themselves her leader does it?

I prefer Bass Ale, but have been known to drink most any kind of beer.....whatta ya got?

I haven't found a credible review or source for Bernie's tax plan. Just what Bernie put out and what conservatives think about it. Hint: Bernie says it will be great and conservatives "recoil in horror".

If you like, you can read up on what the right leaning The Tax Foundation says but I'm not going to quote a biased source:
http://taxfoundation.org/article/details-and-analysis-senator-bernie-sanders-s-tax-plan

A less biased source isn't available yet because Bernie has not been forthcoming regarding details as far as I know. The Tax Foundation summary is not something that I reject outright. For a right leaning analysis it contains details I can't find anywhere else. So I took a look at it.

It would be fair to say that you would pay more in taxes if Bernie got his way though. What would you do? Vote for Cruz or Kasich if Bernie got the nod from Democrats? Republican tax cuts are not that. They don't balance cuts with spending cuts and neither are going to cut defense spending, so its not really a tax cut. What they propose is a tax deferral to future generations in the form of debt.

However, regarding Clinton's plan and your "I don't vote for dreams" trope, well her plan is probably just a non-starter anyway. This was found at the end of a fair review of Clinton's tax plan from NPR:
http://www.npr.org/2016/01/13/462944798/hillary-clinton-s-new-tax-proposal-likely-wont-affect-you

"Would it pass Congress?

It would be tough. Even if Clinton wins the presidency and, with her, Democrats sweep into the Senate, they have little chance of winning a filibuster-proof majority. Not only that, but the House will likely remain Republican."

Glad you are trimming, it's honest work. Hope you got a big pile of bud.

Any of the things you mentioned and many you didn't mention can be paid for in ways that don't use forced redistribution. The fact they are not presently funded that way now is not evidence they would not exist unless force was involved. Many times, good ideas don't require force to implement.

If you think other people have more rights than some people, it's not a good analogy.

If you think no person has superior rights to another it's a very good analogy.

So because it's not 1750, it's okay to forcibly redistribute other peoples things?

Nice fire. I recently lost my toaster to a thief, mind if I toast some bread?

I didn't think you would want to engage as it should be obvious that any percent of a persons property taken from them under any form of duress is theft. To deny that is like saying if a rapist only sticks his dick up your ass half way but if he plows your driveway, it's okay.

Can't say no to the Obamacare tax. Hits you hard, beginning of the new year.
What's that got to do with how we ration health care here? You raised the issue of healthcare rationing. Are you running away from it now?
