Big top dawg.jpgbig top dawg upclose.jpgsmall top dawg.jpgcheese 1.jpgcheese 2.jpgcheese 3.jpgmy collection.jpg
And a great photo of my entire grow currently!

ever since the Cal def and then the N def, i have had Zero problems with my girls.. which i think is great.. hopefully over the coming weeks i'll be able to keep them in tip top shape! it's such a great feeling to be able to gow these plants AND know that college is over for a well deserved summer! hit me up if you have any advice on what to do or if you spotted anything in the pics that i haven't... there's only like 1 leaf showing signs of distress and that's the large top dawg which is a remnant of the cal deficiency. epsoms salts fixed that right up.. anyway ya. EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Looks good man! Your auto's look like they took to the re-potting...
It's odd, I have more or less the same situation lol. In Ireland, broke as fuck (imagine), growing auto's and they got the same fuckin' brown spots (pH lockout caused a mag deficiency) and Epsom salts sorted it. I re-planted all my autos, 4 of them, and they were all perfect - didn't set them back or anything. Maybe other people were just unlucky with it...

Love the mop buckets by the way!

I'll be checking in to see how they finish for ya mate!

fantastic pics cloudy, healthy as can be, that dawg on the left in the final group pic looks like a keeper, short and bushy compact and everything you could want for a possible future clone scource, just saying, if either of these plants turn out to be the plant from heaven with the correct stature and a good yielder and a good smoke at the end, you will wish you had took a clone, well done man, you would never suspect looking at these plants that you were new to growing. Theres many a experienced grower ( myself included ) who could follow your example.

Holy crap isn't repotting auto a nerve wracking experience?! especially with all the rightly given advice not to ever do so! Epsom salts are fecking great! and yeah it's tough getting everything right when the pennies in your pocket are low.. and I love my buckets! only 1.50 each, totally worth it! shame i couldn't fill them to the top with the soil.. another victim of my budget, couldn't afford a larger bag of soil, even though the price for biobizz all mix is damn fair!

I love your profile pic! i hope you didn't use rusty spoons when adding the epsom salts! :p

You're too kind Bilbo! and i'd love to take a clone but i lack both the equipment and space.. which is kind of a bummer.. but it's definitely gonna be a part of my next grow! cheers for the support also! you've been here since the lil buggers were barely a seedling! i can't wait to have a comparison photo from week one to harvest!

Been reading up on the use of Epsom salts as a fix for Magnesium deficiency Cloudy, and the recommendation is that you give a single dose of half a teaspoon mixed into your watering at the last two weeks of vegging, once only, and then again another similar dose 3-4 weeks into flowering, again once only. This apparently corrects PH a little and also gives the plants the magnesium they need at this point. Don't know if reading your progress if you are giving them a REGULAR dose of magnesium, if this is so I think its a big no no, apologies if this is not the case, but you seem rather taken with the effects of Epsom Salts and thought I'd just stick my nose in and remind you its a twice a grow addition, as if you needed told I'm sure.

Oh, sorry if i seemed overly enthusiastic about the epsom salts ( i do that) but i did indeed give them a small dosage once only when they displayed the deficiency.. but cheers! now i'll know to give them a little bit more mid flowering! :)

finally managed to capture what the camera was refusing to capture yesterday! :DUntitled.jpgSHE'S ON THE WAY!

Also just caught this on one of the auto's.Untitled.jpg
Definitely not expecting a big plant off the autos now, not that i did in the first place though!
I'm actually quite shocked my phone camera can get such detail from my plants!

Its nice to see how far everything has come since i started on riu. this was my first regular thread. i dont frequent it as often cause so many others have turned up, and its given me a chance to expand and make contact with some other advanced growers. its alot less thinking and more idle chat.

but i really should start spending more time in here. i love cloudys grow, and its great to watch em go.

nicely done on the topping. looks great from that angle. keep up the gkod work. and cloudy, i had a epiffany.

for your autos, ive figured out the ideal container. free, eazy to obtain, non suspicious. a 2l pop bottle. cut off the funnel top and this shall make a excellent auto container.

Girls are looking great Cloud. Subbed. If the budget is tight try some hempy buckets sometime. Perlite is cheap as can be, and hempys provide some great hydro growth without pumps or bucket changes. Some small sacrifice in taste and aroma maybe over soil, though proper feeding and use of sugars can bring it close.

Looking forward to following along. About to fire up FF VII on my emulator in your honor mate!

holy crap that's a good idea. since they don't grow so big, especially my indica ones. that would be perfect! although how would i prevent light from getting to the roots..

and its all good man! there are tonnes of great threads out there! i generally follow you anyway if you post on an interesting thread through my friends activity! I'm just glad i've got so ye guys to support and offer advice whenever you can! :)

Cheers man! added to Notes folder! and fire that bastard up! ePSXe is one of the greatest programs i've ever come across... actually all emulation is awesome!!! nothing like keeping an eye on the plants whilst sticking on some retro gaming..

Wrap that bast in some ol`Duct tape mate, keeps the light out good. Better yet would be to use the white duct tape as it will reflect, in turn keeping your plants root system warm, but not overheated. Used 2L bottles before, better yet is to grab a 1 gallon bottle of distilled water, cut the top off, and you have fresh, 0ppm water in the meantime. Enjoy!

This gets weirder - I'm using Biobizz too! I think it's great to be honest, going to add a bit more to it for next time though, small bit of garden lime for example. Are you using Biobizz nutes too?
You've a nice hairy female there! Enjoy...

small hempys won`t really suit you tho cloudy, you`d want a hps for it, unless you were going to keep your numbers down but then you wouldn`t get the yeild you were after... been there done it mate, best bet is the 20 litre hempy with soil and use topping etc to really get the most from them, until you get yourself set up with a 400/600w...

Saladfingers is brilliant.. but yeah nah, due to budgetary concerns i can't even afford biobizz nutes, which is something i really wish i was... using cheap doff nutes. €1.50 from the local dealz. but i'm planning on going a bit organic after kush's advice..

in my next gaff, i'll be definitely getting a 400w setup growing. wouldn't go any higher due to eleccy bills and to be honest what a 400w hps can produce is moooore than enough. but we'll come to that when we do.
