31 days in and i've final got a problem! little speckly brown spots.... hoping it's just nute spill spots.

Turns out it's probably a Calcium deficiency. nothing i can do about it today. so tomorrow i'll be spending my remaining pennies on ph test kit in case of lockout and hopefully get some cal-mag or something.. EEP!

Compost has a high ph in my experiance, and have you checked yours lately? It could cause that leaf issue. By the way, your plants look good, much better than you hurling team. GO GALWAY!

i meant to mention this earlier. fucked up ph can caus nitrogen deficiencies, calcium, all sorts of shit.

get ph strips. your a student. go to school, to a science lab and get some ph papers. offer the proffessor a € or two.
when ujusting ph, use things like vinegar to raise it. i live in a area with nutral ph water (like most areas in canada) so i always have to raise ph. to be honest, ive never actually had to lower it. but stay away from ph up and down. they contain all sorts of shit, not just whats responsible for the ph ajustment.

dont worry tho, such a mild deficiency dosent mean shit this early on. correct it and continue

Cheers guys. and i'll be PH testing the fuck out of this tomorrow. since i've been completely in the dark on it (which annoyed me to no end) it's about time i took control of the ph levels.. how much vinegar to water should i use, also what should i use if i need to lower it?

just did the vinegar in soil test and it was fizzling. so i gotta lower that PH

added a tablespoon of vinegar to 2 litres of bottled water. could hear the soil fizzle as i left them back down to rest. hopefully this will help until i can properly test tomorrow!

ph your water. ajust. ph it again. figure out your ratio and devise a system to allow you to be able to do the same thing errytime.

i add a splash of vinegar to my buckets. but after years of practice, i know how much to splash.

Hmmm cloudy careful here....I was under the impression that peat based compost by its very nature was of an acidic nature, will try and read up a bit on this before offering any advice

but I definitely got the alkilinic fizz with the sample in a jar of vinegar test...

local water ph is definitely over 7.. and i was forced to use tap water (left open for 24 hours) for the majority of the grow. only recently started using proper water..

ph everything. soil included. but my soil brand is nutral ph. just ajust accordingly.

peat pellets are acidic. they suck for starting seeds. but peated soil is different.

you have to be careful with everything. always ph everything. nutral water is perfect for this. pour it thru your soil and ph the runoff.

Just repotted my whole lot. I also managed to get hold of Bio Bizz All mix! which is something i thought wasn't to be found in cork! that soil feels so luxurious! anyway, i think i may have overwatered my seedlings. i absentmindedly watered them two days in a row and it was too late before i realized and sure enough the leaves have gone droopy as hell! but i'm now going to leave them recover for a good few days. as for the top dawg, lost a bit more of the rootball of the smaller one than i wanted... hopefully it'll bounce back alright. just gonna leave them to it til sunday, checking on them.. after repot it turns out i haven't enough room in my grow space for all five plants so i had to convert a small area behind the wardrobe for the cheese auto seedlings to live. they should be ok. got plenty of light on all five plants.. happy.. now i'm off for a few cans with Zan.. (and wash my grubby hands.. )

one last thing.. DAMN were my babies overdue a repotting!!!!

if you have a shopvac, suck the water outta the holes in the bottom of the pot. plug most of em, and suck the water outta one of the ones thats not plugged. it always works for anyone ive sujested it too

the roots arent brown, so they will be fine. but i reccomend transplanting at like 7-14 days. depending on how strong the stems are, and how tall they are.

dont worry tho, this is a sturdy plant. you havent done any serious harm.

remember tge mandala guides. read em completly and you will rarely make a mistake.

one thing about ganja you need to be aware of, is if you dont learn about proper drying and curing, mold can fuck up errything for ya.
improper drying can undo 3 months of work in 3 days.

drying can be chalenging dependedt on where you live (cork shoulnt be a problem tho).

just pay special attention to drying. if yoir unsure, ill write ya a drying/curing guide.

So pleased to hear these latest developments cloudy, now just sit back and watch as your plants sprout branches and bush out. Every grower kind of develops their own methods through their own experience but as for watering what I do is get an old 2 Litre Coke bottle and keep it in my grow room--- this means the water you are using is kept at the same temps as the soil etc -- I then add 2 mL of Biogrow ferts and shake it up, if you don't have any vegging ferts you can use Baby Bio ferts which you can get for about a Euro in any pound shop this isn't perfect but adds a little extra nitrogen which at this stage of vegging is a welcome supplement --press down the edges of your compost in the pot, you will notice as the compost dries out a bit the compost is '' coming away ' from the sides and doing this pressing down fills in that gap so the water dosnt just go right down this gap but soaks through the compost better--now add water at about a half pint at a time and give it a minute to soak in -- add another half pint and so on --until when you lift the pot you see water beginning to drip from the bottom--and that's you done --repeat with each plant and back under the light---------------seems a bit over the top but if you take care then the plant gets a good thorough soaking. Its not uncommon for plant leaves to droop a bit after a good water but sometimes its only a matter of an hour or so before the top leaves are pointing up, angling themselves at the light, rather than stick to a rigid regime learn to judge the weight of the pots as a pointer to when they need watering, let it dry out a wee bit between waterins as this causes the roots to branch out looking for water for a day or so before you give them it----------------heres a pic cloudy of one of mines maybe 2 week further on than yours and as a guide this one which is in a 12 inch pot needs a good water every 3 days---this is TRAINWRECK by the way ( Pics appear at the top of this post for some reason--will need to work out how to put in inline where I want ) but this gives you an idea of what size roughly a plant need to be to flip into flower and now you got that soil it wont be long. good luck cloudy.

24 hours in the new soil and even with the mishap with the smaller top dawg, they both look so much happier! and my teeny seedlings are quickly recovering from the watering incident and can't wait to see their reaction to the lovely new soil! Did i mention i loooove biobizz all mix? yeah...? lol!
