as i see your edit. indeed i used a scalpel! which i'll use next time if i feel ready for cloning.
And I`ve had nothing but good results with Peat pellets, now will use them over rockwool or any other starting medium. If you can keep them moist, they offer the best germinating of seeds IMO, never takes me more than 3-4 days to get sprouts. Have you just had issues with these?ph everything. soil included. but my soil brand is nutral ph. just ajust accordingly.
peat pellets are acidic. they suck for starting seeds. but peated soil is different.
you have to be careful with everything. always ph everything. nutral water is perfect for this. pour it thru your soil and ph the runoff.
good lookin out bilbo, i shoulda explained that better. PEAT PELLETS ARE SHIT. WASTE OF MONEY STAY AWAY
Happy plants make happy farmers too right . Hiccups are necessary, how you learn honestly. I`ve been growing for almost 10 years now and still learn something in the garden everyday (as you branch out with projects with time). You`re doing great man, can`t wait to see these come along for ya. Happy growing, keep it green,Go raibh maith agat KC! although noone really says that over here! please do! your comments are more than welcome! and cheers! i love my plants and so far barring expected hiccups they're doing great. i keep looking at them every ten minutes just to say hi! today especially! they look like they're smiling at me due to their general health after the past week! ^^,
