Bush ran against Clinton and Obama ran against Bush. But Bush couldn't run against Clinton in 04 because it was 4 years old news. Same with Bush now. Obama still tries to run against Bush (because he doesn't have much else), but people don't want to hear that anymore.

I doubt most of Ron Paul's support will go to Romney. You see Romney is a douchebag AND has shitty ideas. Did I mention he's a douchebag?

Most of Ron Paul's supporters aren't voting for him because of a party allegiance they are voting for his ideas. If Ron Paul is not the nominee and decides not to run as 3rd party, Gary Johnson becomes the new liberty guy.

His son is not the same person as is father. Although you present a reasonable dilemma. I doubt Ron Paul will endorse anybody that does not endorse liberty, but we'll see.
