Is isopropyl alcohol 99% the same thing like rubing alcohol 99%?

Yup now if you do it regularly its so easy to keep clean all the time. I do 99% every few days cause I cannot stand dirty glass at all, get better and smoother hit.

I put in a small amount of 99% and swish it around then pour the excess onto some toilet paper and stick that in the bowl followed by emptying the contents of the bong into the bowl while while the tissue in - shake a bit and then rinse everything off. takes me less than 5 minutes.

Once a month I will rinse out with a bit of CLR after the 99% ISO to remove the deposits from tap water, sparkly!

I find I get more baked with a cleaner bong maybe I get better pulls?

99% iso works well to clean bongs but it's more expensive than 91% iso which works just about the same, use a bit of chunky salt in there too as an aggregate.

I don't ever find it pulls easier as nothing is clogged. I find the thicker the coating the faster the rate of the buildup and in my head there is some potency "loss". But the pulls are for sure a lot smoother and I can taste the terpenes of the bud more. Bong water starts to get saturated as well and doesnt hold more and therefore more more of the harsher stuff comes through.

4x 500ml packs of 99% are 6.99 at my Costco. lasts me a year almost.

I know this is an old thread but I clean my bong once a week. 70% alcohol works with salt.. basicaly any kind of degrade or alcohol will work, just rinse well.. if anything kills you it'll be cause you got too high and drank it
