Also, is the gain from a 7 gallon to 10 gallon pot going to make much difference? I'd gain a few inches in depth, and at least at the top circumference, around an extra 1/4 inch, at least based on measuring the pots.
Outdoors, Ocean Forest in Northern Ca. I do have several 15 gallon pots, but moving them is too difficult, especially when wet. I have them in my sideyard, which is concrete, and the area where they can't be seen by neighbors is maybe 10 by 20 (or less) feet, and as the sun changes I need to move them some to maximize the hours of direct sun they get. Have a MAC1, Dosidos Sherbert and Mr E Pupil. I'm tempted to just leave in the 7 gallon pots in the photo but want to avoid issues if they get badly rootbound during flower. The Dosidos (far right in pic) seems to suck up a lot of water, have to water almost daily
