It doesn't mean brown people like how you interpreted it. He said that because he advocates for traditional selective screening instead of the TSA, he has to at least give them that 'selective' screening to try to win some ground when really he wants nobody to be screened.

Did you ever get racial profiled at the airport before the TSA or hear of any such thing happening in the last 30 years? your making it into that...a fantasy..If someone is acting suspicious security should get involved...everyone doesn't need to be scanned have their genitals molested to keep us safe, we were safe before. He has to give the FEAR MONGERS some ground so he can debate with them.

Christ man, I get patted down going into football games and concerts. Everyone does.
A pat down is hardly invasive, its standard at MANY events. If hes so opposed to the pat down at the airport he can drive a car cant he?

thats how it all worked like 10 years ago and for 400 years before that...people didn't get patted down at concerts and sports venues, people didn't get patted down at the airport, and LESS security incidents occurred. It is unconstitutional and illegal. This is a police state and its a negative thing. Rand Paul is fighting for human right and civil liberties on this issue.

I call bullshit
I used to have season tickets for the Patriots back in the 90's, I've probably been to 30 NFL games. I and everyone that entered the stadium got a pat down. Separate lines for men and women
Went to my first rock show in 1977, probably been to 200 or more shows at venues from large clubs to arenas to outdoor stadiums and amphitheaters. Been patted down at 90% of those shows. Shit at an Allman Bros show I had a guard ask me to remove my casted arm from the sling. I refused and he looked at the pins coming out of my cast and key me through
I'm against invasive searches, I've been patted down plenty if times and dont consider that to be invasive. And lol no i don't work for TSA or anyone for that matter, I'm self employed

Football, Rock concerts etc...Those are run by private industry , they can do much more than the government and get away with it.
TSA is Government run, big difference. Illegal search is illegal.

So, everybody who is going to fly on a plane is guilty until proven innocent according to the TSA..... sorry that is not how it works in the USA

TSA does not just do pat downs.... some of their searches qualify many of them to be Fluffers in the porn industry.
