is this a female?

go away trousers.
i got three free feminzed acid seeds with the purchase of a glass piece, so im going to use them.

the drawbacks to feminized seeds is that the species is now turning asexual because of our exploitation, and the pain that the mother/father plant has to go through.

I would like to add that to your quote collection. It is not your best work, but definitely top 5.
Keep fucking that chicken.
Feminized seeds do not turn male. It was either a regular seed or you fucked it up.

Advantages:
  • Purity of race is maintained
  • Avoids wastage of pollen grains
  • less chance of failure of pollination

Disadvantages
  • Continuous self-pollination leads to weaker progeny
  • new species are not produced

  • The disadvantages of self-pollination come from a lack of variation that allows no adaptation to the changing environment or potential pathogen attack. Self-pollination can lead to inbreeding depression, or the reduced health of the species, due to the breeding of related specimens. This is why many flowers that could potentially self-pollinate have a built-in mechanism to avoid it, or make it second choice at best.

That does not really have anything to do with feminized seeds no matter how many times you post it.

Yea dude if its feminized it should not have male parts, unless you have had it on a 12/12 its entire life trying to rush it and turned it to a ladyboy. But thats a male 100%, even from your first pic its a male. Dont trust everything somebody tells you :-P

you must be an idiot trouser, youre making the plant asexual reproduce, just like the ones theyre refering to in that article. there are a bunch of plants that do it, for different reasons, but for none "naturally", or intended by the creator.

cannabis has been karyoted and shares the same xy mechanism as humans.

life is similar anywhere you look. the same? no. very closely related? yes

2/2 male. fuck. what does a calyx look like? do the hairs or the sack of the female egg come first?

im gonna water my new babies right. keep the soil more dry when theyre little. gonna see how fast they flower. and how much they yield.

my tomato plant is doing good. i guess they liked the amount of water as a baby. this is 3 weeks old today, and the picture was taken after that sun cycle. he grows into the light every night right now! going through puberty and showing fruit organs now :) its a hermie too, i think we bred the heirloom family to only be asexual over the years. fucking mad scientists.

"What is the difference between heritage fruits and heirloom plants? Heirloom plants may be reproduced by asexual vegetative propagation (usually grafting) or by sexual reproduction (seeds). Heritage fruits are only reproduced by vegetative propagation. This ensures that the identical genes are passed on to each new tree. [SUP][5][/SUP]"

i guess they did it by grafting like they do on a human. wtf?

were doing it with heavy metal poisioning

and then it gets passed down THROUGH DNA TROUSERS to the offspring. the trait is retained. the potential to become. but who needs pollination? not the busy bees that also make nutritious honey thats is very very good for everyone. the bears that eat it dont need it either.

life adapts to the environment..not ever the other way around.

there was never a hermie that was born during the start, unless it was from a birth defect, that was either caused by chemicals..or a bad infection that somehow manifests itself into the embryo

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vegetative_propagation

Cultivated plants propagated by vegetative methodsA number of commonly cultivated plants are usually propagated by vegetative means rather than by seeds. This is a listing of such plants:
African violets — leaf cuttingsApple — graftingAvocado — graftingBanana — sucker removalBlackberries (Rubus occidentalis) — stem cuttingsCanna — divisionCannabis — stem cuttingsCitrus (lemon, orange, grapefruit, Tangerine, dayap) — graftingDate — sucker removalFig — stem cuttingsGarden strawberry — runners (stolons)Grapes — stem cuttings, graftingHops — stem cuttingsManioc (cassava) — stem cuttingsMaple — stem cuttings, graftingNut crops (walnut, pecan) — graftingPeach — graftingPear — graftingPineapple — stem cuttingsPlum — stem cuttingsPoplar — stem cuttingsPotato — stem (tuber) cuttingsSugar cane — stem cuttingsTea — stem cuttingsVanilla — stem cuttingsVerbena — stem cuttingsWillow — stem cuttings

"For example willow and coleus can be propagated merely by inserting a stem in water or moist soil. On the other hand, monocotyledons, unlike dicotyledons, typically lack a vascular cambium and therefore are harder to propagate."

clone instead of poisioning if possible. but then where would we as humans without feminzied seeds? i have some now becuase these males pissed me off lol

also, how much longer do you guys think i should let these flowers mature? id say they are on 5 weeks, and the
pistils are turning amber already
At week 5 you should have buds starting to resemble the final product but it usually still has white
pistils.

It's normal. You don't have many pistils there but i can still see some white.

Those plant have been grown terribly, i wouldn't expect much out of the girl.

You're doing 12/12 from seed but their growth has been stunted. They should
be much bigger.

You definitely need to read the basics on this stuff, it's way too easy to grow a healthy plant.

the plant was a leftover from the first two plants i ever tried to grow, when i knew nothing.

i used the clay from under my deck.

i fed chemical ferts every other watering.

sandys power went out on her for a week.

i drowned her after having to flush a salt/mineral build up.

i trimmed all her veg leaves, which was stupid.

i was also over watering her badly.

and then i finally dropped a shoe box on her and decapiated her.

she still makes my fingers smell so sweet when i touch her, so i cant throw it out. these other plants, these damn males, smell really spicy when i broke a branch off to get a whiff.

the repair..bad idea. still lost most of her.

this one was vegged for 2-3 weeks. i forget.

i said fuck it, moved it into my closet and trying out 12/12 from seed, especially cause i have mostly regular seeds and feared males.

this was 2 weeks into flower the popcorn nugs were bigger, but they caught damage from the fall

I wouldn't throw it out if it was my only plant either, it's better to go through the process and learn a little
instead of wondering.

It still has trichomes and there is a few small bowls there but it's the learning experience that counts.

I was going to ask if that was clay you're growing it in after looking at pic 5 but i didn't think anyone would be that ignorant
to actually put their plant in clay.

I can't make you understand what you read. You can not see what is very obvious.
The fuck if you know what is natural or "intended by the creator."
For some reason you still can't understand that female cannabis plants producing pollen is natural and "intended by the creator."
It happens all the time without human interference.

cannabis has been karyoted and shares the same xy mechanism as humans.
Karyoted huh? That sounds cretaceous and a little flatulent.

You have no idea what you are talking about. It is pretty funny how you can not grasp basic concepts.
You were out getting baked during 10th grade biology, right?

Awesome. Like when you build muscle and then you get a baby with big muscles?

the trait is retained. the potential to become.

Except diabetics and those that are allergic to honey.
Vegans eschew honey because it is an animal product.

the bears that eat it dont need it either.
Try to focus.

for real? i didnt know that, thanks. hands off from now on

what would happen if you tried to clone a node after flowering has ended? would the cutting just die off like the plant was planning on doing? cause my plants are too small to clone, but i want to try

You were out getting baked during 10th grade biology, right?
lol, what? he's talking about using colloidal silver to stress the plant into producing pollen.

You can get males from feminized seeds with enough stress. Feminized seeds only mean the female trait
has been increased, that is why breeders stopped calling them female seeds because some of them were
turning into hermis and full blown males.

Sex is not completely determined in the seed.

"The Italian Society of Agricultural Genetics agrees the sexual differentiation of cannabis is strongly influenced by environmental factors such as temperature and photoperiod."

I have no experience in reveg, but if you do look into it and it is successful then take clones
when it has stopped with the weird growth that happens.

dimebong, they are all hermies, 50% a hermie and a female, thats what he doesnt understand. its bred into their dna, they have a bigger potential to become a female or hermie. 50% chance to become a hermie. a regular seed wont have AS big of a chance, but it probably can, becase weve bred into the whole speices the hermie characteristic. i bet i can stress the shit out of a regular seed and it wont change. lemme try. this POS male should i do something to it :fire:

redhead genepools will be weaned down soon, and there will be none left becuase of their negative reproduction number compared

breeding a dog is really inbredding a dog just different slang. good for looks, for the joints the teeth (which are joints really) are always not as good, cause its not normal for creatures to not venture out in the wild. when something goes wrong generation after generation you have to breed in different traits. the system is tired and bored

cannabis hermie is a xxy its been karyotyped as that, just as a human, so you can use the same xy and yy (and mutant xxy, xyy, xxx)

(xxy hermie, then super males and super females..theyre big in stature but weak with small heads with bad systems)

when plants first started, there was no need for them to be asexual. that is a last resort mutant change that only happens when its the end of the road for them, and there are no mates left. they must contiune the species. when it was first created there was tons of seed and many males and females..probably at close to equal rates as well

then we get involved and things change. and it gets passed down through dna in fact.

i will use a feminized becuase theyre created. even a tomato is one. this heriloom is growing strong, its the size of my hand already at 3 weeks lol.

i will never support monsanto/mircalgrow/scotts they ruined a lot of things, buy other brands

heres goes my male (i think :/) cannabis plant and tomato plant. 12/12 lighting, 3-4 weeks old on both. i hope to see tomatos on the plant soon. i thought a weed should grow faster than a tomato plant? wtf

they say tomatos flower at 4 weeks, so im anxiously waiting. its time for a new home real soon as well. i wanted to do beefsteak tomato, but i knew the micro grow stem wouldnt support it, so i started with cherry tomatos -_- just got watered and misted once for the day

is this a male for sure? check out the tomatos preflowers, or at least thats what i think they are!

Which is probably the most popular and easiest way to make feminized seeds. The feminized seeds he is going to use were most likely produced using colloidal silver. It is very safe, very easy and very effective.

Are you making comments and giving advice about things you do not really understand?

You can get males from feminized seeds with enough stress. Feminized seeds only mean the female trait
has been increased,
No, that is wrong.
You are making things up based on terrible opinions you have read on the internet. I imagine you have no actual experience, otherwise you would not be posting such things.

that is why breeders stopped calling them female seeds because some of them were
turning into hermis and full blown males.
What breeders have stopped calling them "female seeds"?
If you start with good genetics you are not going to get a male from a feminized seed. A feminized seed is not capable of producing a male. There is no Y chromosome. Where does the Y chromosome come from?

If you have feminized seeds from good genetics you will be just as likely to get a "hermie" from the parents as you would from the fem seed.

You are parroting terrible opinions from bad growers.
Read some quotes from the op, bmeat before you hitch your star to his wagon.

Sex is not completely determined in the seed.
While I am sympathetic to your opinion, I would love to read something about it. I do not understand how a seed that lacks a Y chromosome can be a male.
