Is this a wise choice for a new led!?

hey been growing under a viparspectra 900 which I'm aware is far from the best (was a last minute replacement for a hps heat problem). Anyway very soon I will be in the market for something better. I started looking at Cali lightworks, amare, budmaster and numerous other brands, however it seemed clear to me after a bit of reading these are all massively overpriced and diy is the way. Now I'm not in to messing about with electrics and can't really be bothered so I came across this.... the timber 400w vero with framework. So the basic question I am asking is will this provide me enough light to "max out" my 1m x 1m used as a full cycle. Anything else I should add? Any other timber pre assembled lights that suit me better? Any help appreciated! Oh and this is the light in question. Peace

Awesome man, I never hear anything bad about timber. Every other board I've considered buying seems insanely overpriced now. Is raindan the owner then? Active on here? Cause I'll be looking to purchase in the next couple of months and want to make sure I make the best choice. Thanks for your help

You can start a conversation with him and he'll reply. I'm deciding between Timber & Tasty, most likely I'll go with Timber because he's honest ( even told me about other lights that are sufficient ) and my research is only bringing up good things. Not to mention the price is reasonable.

He is there customer service guru, and usually pretty active on here as well. I'm surprised he hasn't chimed in on this thread yet. But if you go to the customer service chat on their site, he's usually who you'll get. Very knowledgeable about their products, and all around good people to do business with. You'll be very satisfied dealing with timber.

He is honest and awesome to deal with. I've bought timber in the past, will always recommend dealing with them. And will but from them again once I need more lights for additional space

You reckon it will be more than good enough for a 3.3x3.3 then for a full cycle ? What kind of yeild were you pulling in bro? Thanks in advance

Pick your Kelvin and CRI of choice. He uses nothing but the best quality products and even hand paints each unit in your choice of colour with company decals. Badass units and competitively priced!

would work in a 3x3 youd be dimming to about 60-75W per cob in most cases though

which is fine... room to grow.

You could stretch the cobs further apart to cover that size. I have my cobs 12 inches apart. I bet you could get away with 14-15 inches apart if you remove the dimmer (adds 10% power boost according to Dan)

As far as yields I don't focus on that too much, as I don't have my environment or strains dialed in. check out my grow journal, pictures speak for themselves

It does say on the site the vero 400 is suitable for a m2 which Is what I have but I wanna make sure it's the best option. There is a 3x3 frame 6 x Cree system but has Lower ppfd and lower coverage so ...yeah haha so confusing when you're new to it

For what reason? Sorry if this sounds stupid I'm still new to this. And that reassures me as there's nothing wrong with a little overkill if the option is there to dial it down. Thanks bro
