Is this normal?

These plants are outdoors in promix and are about 1 weeks from harvest. The lower leaves are yellowing quickly and becoming easy to snap off. Is this normal?

I agree with cirE. To me, the photographs appear to be about the first or maybe second week of Flower. Do you have some more recent pictures of the plant? Or, are those current?

This is a wider shot of the plant in the first pic. I pulled off lots of the yellow leaves but more are yellowing. Fourth week of flowering. This is a cheese strain that doesn't get too fat.

Seriously, that plant is not even close to harvest. Is this your first grow or what?
Well then it shouldn't be yellowing like that. I've been growing for years. This strain does not get fat especially outdoors during the winter here in this part of Hawaii. It gets really rainy and gets way less light than during the summer. Anyway I'm asking about the leaves turning yellow not when to harvest it. This is a plant I'm going to harvest today. This is about as fat as they get here right now at least outdoors. I wish I could get rid of that powdery mildew.

Is that covered in white powdery mildew? Looks like youve got a really bad mold problem..... And as the others have said, your not even close to harvest but the yellow leaves would be the least of my worries.

yea thats not good that some serious pm

Now take my comment as with a grain of salt. I am trying to remember when this happened to me from a decade ago when my grows were secluded. Outdoor grew 3 plants had that white mildew and did not grow properly. We ended up throwing out the yield due to mites and grew indoors the following cycle. Same strain and clones from the same mother and was a world of difference. Wish I could comment more to help but like I said that grow of mine was a failure. Maybe someone else may have an idea on how to save it.

If I were to let that plant go for another week it would start rotting. Where I am that's the best they get during winter. Here is the same strain during the summer. Notice no powdery mildew or yellow leaves.
