yep i saw that my b...and yes the crusades were a hot minute ago, but regardless people commit acts of violence and ignorance in the name of religion. Both in Christianity and islam etc. Good example the people that blow up abortion clinics or that guy who shot up that church cause gays were attending service. Or islamic terrorists: it goes both way sometimes...

No what you did was insult a very widely recognized and professed religion, much the same as the Holy Catholic Empire, which killed more people during the crusades than all world wars combined. You cant pick and chose a debate....unless you voted for Obama or are Democrat.

I see Christian bashing in here on a daily basis, so what's the problem with leveling out the playing field and calling out muslims? While Christians have their flaws, they have changed over the centuries, while muslims have remained the same animals they were when the religion of terror was created. I'll agree, Islam is stupid, as stupid as all the other Abrahamic religions including christianity that believe in unproven magic. They all believe Abraham was sane, Adam and Eve, in virgin births, the stories of Moses, and a supposed miracle making preacher turned insurgent named Jesus that rallied his followers to revolt against the occupiers. Kind of like what is happening in the middle east now. The main difference with Islam is their last profit Mohamad came after Jesus, other than that they are just extreme christians, no different than Mormanism. The Jews should have put a stop to this nonsense when Abram piped up. We might have a society that cares more about each other than with what a book says to do.

man religion is kinda dumb, but then again we all must choose something to believe in and sometimes ignorance bliss...lol to each his own

Just to get this straight before anyone accuses me of hating muslims, I don't hate anybody for their beliefs, I understand that there are extremists of every faith, and I believe that we are all allowed to profess our individual beliefs. I believe that there are muslims that only wish good on others and I respect those people. I also understand that there are evil christians and jews, and any other religion, and those people are dangerous.
I believe that religion is a good thing. Many teach people between right and wrong, and also profess good morals that every person should follow. I don't believe it is fair to catagorize a whole group of people simply by the beliefs that they have. But while skimming through the threads, I couldn't help but notice that christianity takes a lot of heat, and the reason I created this thread was to show that I am an equal opportunity basher, no matter which belief or religion you follow, you are all subject to ridicule, and there is no reason for christians to take all the heat when you can spread that around and level out the playing field. It's not the religion that is crazy or brutal, it is some of its followers. Just as Americans have a few "Jesus Camp" Christians speaking in tongues, etc. there are a few loose screws in Islam.

The nature of Islam is not much different from Christianity... Which is why this thread is: full of ignorance and inaccuracies.
