A guy from Florida brought the bubba to LA where it hermed onto the og kush and the seeds of that were named bubba kush. His name is Matt Berger. I think katsu is a euro breeder that bought clones of bubba kush and og kush. Their katsu bubba is a phenotype they selected
The katsu cut is the sought after cut, he's the source I know he handed it out all over but he's still the guy I'd go to for bubba

You rate the katsu more than the pre98 bubba? Sure it yields more but idk i prefer the taste and effects of the pre98 think the yields why many seek it vs the pre98 the katsus definitely bit better in that department
Katsu Bubba was a clone the user "Katsu_Bluebird" bought from Orgnkid back in the early forum days, and spread/sold online everywhere. He didn't breed anything. It's not a special selection and isn't a better yielder than the "Pre98"... The Pre98 is in reference to the Bubba Kush clone "707 Seed Bank" acquired in 1998. Swerve then appropriated the name and made up stories how he started the name. But we all know Swerve tells the truth as well as he can look you square in both eyes.
Many would disagree with you on the yield aspect but as we all know other things can affect and account for that perception and from what i remember swerve was a bit dodgy lol i cant remember all the details but yeah idk i feel there is a slight variation between the two cuts tho personally

Ok thanks for chiming in hopefully you can settle the argument as i would value your opinion on this your katsu cut vs the pre 98 there are some small differences correct or no ? and on a side note respect to you if you gifted it not sold it thats how it should be with all cuts imo
