Thanks for the comments guys. Bshdctr - I'm not seeing trichs on the JTR yet, but have no doubt they'll be along soon. I know you got a new camera recently. I think the colors coming out in my closeups are due to the macro ring light I got recently. I think it makes a big difference on closeups. I was also using it on the full plant pictures and I don't think it is the best for those shots. They seem a little foggy. This canna-tography stuff is a gear head's dream...

bshdctr - I'm gonna have to start calling you Nostradamus now. Just when you say the JTR is frosting up, she kicks into gear. I went out this morning to tie her down a little more and can definitely see trichomes now! The lemony cleaner smell is coming through too. So excited...

Blueberry is bomb. I am itching to get that strain in my garden. I've got some Bubbleberry seeds from Sagamartha, too, that are burning a hole in my pocket. You ever try that one, Med? I actually got some at a club here and brought it back to Boulder once-- blew my friends away. Mental flavor with a great euphoric, BB high.

Just popped one out of 5 JTR's. Going to try dwc for the first time and hope for a female to clone while I wait for my DNA Chocolope to finish.

Hey Bobo - I've never tried Bubbleberry. Sounds interesting. I am watching Snafu's Blueberry grow with interest. I've got a good friend who used to get Blueberry from one of his grower friends up in the Boulder County hills (Ned/Ward/Jamestown, somewhere up there) and it was always good. I have shied away from growing it because I had always heard that it was hermie prone. I may have to give it a go some day.
Let me know if/when you get around to popping those Bubbleberry beans. I'd definitely like to follow along.
BTW - we got about 6 inches of snow last night. Just cleaned the driveway and walk before heading to work. Winter is on!

Welcome aboard Johny.
Good luck with your JTR grouch. Good luck with the dwc too. I've done a few dwc grows years ago. I'm sure you've been reading up on it, but my advice would be to keep the water level consistent. The PH swings like mad when you let the water drop too low before filling. I found the best way to manage dwc was to hook up a reservoir with a float valve.

You can bet I'll be watching Snafu as well, and you will be the first to know when the Bubbleberry thread opens up 
Just need to find a new place to grow. Literally just moved to a new pad that isn't as MJ growing friendly as my last place. It's kinda stressin me out! Where'm I gonna grow, man?!?!

Hey bro - My deck is waxed and ready. We need a lot more snow though. The season is starting out a bit slow.
I'm sure you'll figure out a grow spot soon. Hopefully you won't have to trade the Club 600 badge in for an LED/CFL/dresser drawer growers club badge...
The girls are coming along nicely. It looks like snow inside the shed too. JTR is pumping frost out even on the fan leaves. AK is close behind and Ketama is just getting the snow machine going. I'll try to get some pics up soon.

Yeah, slow season here, too, so far. Hopefully that changes soon.

Thanks man! I'm going to let her go the full 8wks.. I have 2 othe AK's that were popped at the same time that looks like they will go a few days past the full 8 weeks. But also I was out of power for 2 days so I'd imagine that slowed things up also. @ day 50 the trichs are still mostly clear turning cloudy... I'd imagine this last week will allow her to fully ripen and for the trichs to mature. I try not to keep track of the weeks. For me it makes me anxious and I've had a few early chops because of it... The AK is known to be a devastating couch lock strain so I'm letting her go till I see 75% cloudy-25% amber.

Most definitely. I like to wait for a least a 2 week cure, plus some time to smoke them for a while before doing a report so please be patient. I'm also big on tinctures and medibles. I think I'll start doing reports on effects of smoke vs ingestion. There can be quite a difference.
