Javadog's Next Adventure

LOL, I keep thinking that that is Cheese Surprise.

CS will be in the next crop. It is dominating it's hempy...

...and the plant with 1+ weeks in the center of the tent is actually Sour Kosher.

I did list it that way earlier, I am sure.

:0)

I topped my Dog too many times and there were a million buds, but they were TEENY.
I made lots of hash from it, but would gladly sacrifice that yield for usable buds.

Hay Bass,

That was a bad labeling job by me. The first row center
is the GSCs where the first row right is one of the CVMMs.

It is weird, but the slower/weaker CVMMs in Veg are making
the best plants and buds in flower.

The "fast grower" CVMM is the second row, right and it
was crisped worst by the Kapow! (LOL, the name, LOL)
but is also just not leading the CVMMS, were it roared ahead
of the other two in Veg.

So, the one in the corner is one of the one-time slow-purple
CVMMs. It is making buds to compete with the one third row,
center which has been beautiful for a while.

If I refer to them using (#, #) to be (Row, Column) then here
are some shots.

The First CVMM (3,2):
9 CVMM 1.jpg

The other slow-purple CVMM (1,3):

The fast Vegger. You can see that it was a bit crisped (2,3):

from the side:

(I see that there is hope for dank from this plant still ;0)

LK, you asked about the Lemon Thai Kush....I had reported here earlier
that it did not appear to be setting up for flowering as fast as the other
breeds added to the tent with it (Blue Dream, GSC, Chemdog.

Well, it is much further along, and is beginning to hint at a scent.

I think that I will have a better report soon.

Here is a shot of the LTK (1,1):

Here is the GSC, two angles (1,2):

7 GSC2.jpg

Blue Dream is rocking (3,3):

Blue Dream from above:

Somango, two angles (2,1):

Here is the best shot of the Chemdog (3,1):

They are past the HPS at the top, and have a Kessil to finish.

The Sour Kosher is setting up nicely:

Take care,

Thanx for the reply

Is this burning here from over fert then?

I have some similar and wasnt sure if I was feeding too weak or strong honestly.

No that is the Kapow! that I referred to.

It is Indian Lemon Grass oil and it was very wonderful to me, as
it smelled wonderful, but it turned out to be harsh for a few plants.

The Chemdog toasted parts of one top, running into the lights, as well.

Take care,

JD

Thanks SS.

BTW: I have pretty much decided that Green Crack will get the last slot.

I am decided even though the second Sour Cherry has shown female
because that SC needs to restarted through clone, and trained from
much, much earlier.

The Green Crack has nice alternating nodes up about six nodes or so.

I am going to mainline this plant.

It will have eight weeks of veg, in all likelihood.

Here is the Green Crack:

Do not be alarmed by the crispy spots. She is dry and about to be watered, but
I will wait until I up-pot her to the hempy. (this is that Kapow! again ;0)

Here is the target top:

You can see that the time is now.

LOL, beware my wrath...

This is a very mis-behaved Super Lemon Haze:
SuperLemonHaze.jpg

I will be more likely to flower one of it's already taken clones,
and I will start training when as soon as they are in pots. Wow,
but this one exploded straight up!

I plan to get some milk crates to raise my short girls to the height of the hazes.
Maybe I should have topped the hazes...

I am going to top mine, bend them around the bucket, and then
snap the tops over after they explode up no matter what I do.

I swear that, given the growth under 200 Watts of flouros that
I am seeing, that I will not be surprised if the above is needed.

You will get a laugh when you see a full shot of the Chemdog
in the tent. It is about 5.5 feet high and is all long towers.

good shit. I didn't go all the way back and read every page. What breeder for the chemdawg? Do you think it would be good for my wall of weed vertical grow in coco hempys?

Hello,

I took a photo of the tent just now, just the front right corner,
opposite from yesterday's shot:
IMG_2482.jpg
The Chemdog is filling the far corner.

I tried to capture it's "towers", but was only partially successful:
IMG_2483.jpgIMG_2484.jpg
You can see that there is a great deal of filling in to do, but there is at
least five weeks to do it. We will see.

BTW, in the full tent shot, you can see that I lifted the GSC, the
Somango, and one of the CVMMs last night. (same positions, compare
to yesterdays photo)

Take care,

JD

Hello,

Position #9 is in its hempy:
GreenCrackMainLine.jpg

I have clones taken.

Take care,

JD

P.S. I decided to rinse the roots on this one.

I did this with my somewhat ill Purple Wreck and it seemed to
like the change.

BTW: Seed Finder did not have too much on Chemdog:
http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Chemdog/Green_House_Seeds/

I did find this on tokecity:
"History of the Chemdawg Family

At a Grateful Dead show at Deer Creek Amphitheatre, 'joebrand' (aka 'wonkanobe') and 'pbud' met 'chemdog' and sold him an ounce of very high quality pot for $500. joe and chemdog exchanged numbers and they later arranged for two ounces to be shipped to chemdog on the east coast. According to chemdog, one ounce was seedless and the other had 13 seeds.

In '91, chemdog popped the first 4 seeds. From these seeds, one male was found and disposed of (chemdog was young, you can't blame him). The 3 females were labeled "chemdawg" (now 91 chemdawg), "chemdawg a" (now chemdawg's sister), and "chemdawg b". In '01, chemdog and his girlfriend attempted to germ 3 more seeds, labeled "c", "d", and "e". the "e" seed never germinated, "c" turned out to be junk (according to chemdog), and chemdawg "d" was the keeper. In '06, 'chemdog' and 'joebrand' reunited and joe was given 4 of the last 6 beans: Chemdawg phenos 1-4, '4' being the chosen keeper. Joe thought the '4' was the best representation of the original and thus dubbed it the 'reunion pheno'. Chemdog still has two seeds left in his stash.

Chemdawg Crosses:
- 'OG Kush' (the original cut) came from an s1 from in a bag of '91 Chemdawg in the Lake Tahoe area in 1996.
- 'Sour Diesel' aka ECSD came from an accidental cross of ('91 Chemdawg x Mass Super Skunk/NL)x DNL after the DNL hermed and seeded the room. The DNL's lineage is NL/Shiva x Hawaiian.
- Original Diesel' (also known as Diesel #1, Headband, Daywrecker Diesel, Underdawg) came from a cross of '91 Chemdawg x (Mass Super Skunk x Sensi's Northern Lights) done by a guy known as "weasel".

'Chemdog' and friends made several crosses that are held closely by a small group of friends and acquaintances. Among them are:

1. Super Snowdawg (Bubble Chem x [Super skunk x Oregon Sno])
2. Giesel (Chem D x Mass Super Skunk)
3. Bubble Chem (Chemdawg's Sister x Sag's Bubbleberry)
4. Dawg Daze aka ChemHaze (Chem D x 93 Sensi's NL#5/Haze)
5. Chemdawg D x Pbud (another old-school Colorado strain)

JJ-NYC has been working on a Chemdawg D-based seed line for several years now. He started by crossing Chemdawg D to Sensi's Afghani after thoroughly testing both Sensi's Afghani and Sensi's Hindu Kush to determine which was more stable and would be better for the initial cross. JJ then did a backcross, known as "Double Dawg." Several phenos of this circulate and several people still have beans. JJ's latest work to the line is a second backcross known as "Tres Dawg" which is just starting to get tested.

Rezdog of Reservoir Seeds recently released several Chemdawg crosses as part of his 'Trinity' charity auctions. The crosses included Chemdawg D x Sensi's Hindu Kush and Snowdawg x Sensi's Hindu Kush, Chemdawg D x Sour Diesel IBL, Snowdawg x Sour Diesel IBL, ChemHaze x Sour Diesel IBL and Giesel x Sour Diesel IBL."
