Some quick pictures from today. No real details to add to the pictures yet. There is a very slight smell, but you really have to be up close. There is some "sugar" starting on it.

Those are the bathroom light things that go above the mirrors. You should be able to find at home depot, meijers, walmart, lowes, etc...

yea i havent been to the store yet to check it out i just wanted to find them online to know exactly what to get because i got 12 compact flouresent bulbs23 watts = 100watts of power and was planning on using the set up used in this thread....I like the way he designed it

I have only one clamp light right now. When I am going to add another light to my setup I will definitely get one of those light socket fixtures. +rep
Does the fixture plug directly into the wall?

^----yea, i wanted to know the same thing....does the fixture come with an electrical cord/plug or did you make it urself with the wires? cause im scared of a fire hazard cause im no fuckin electriction :)

You might need to buy a power cord and wire that your self.. not sure but also he uses the y socket thing so he can use 2 bulbs in each socket.. if u need to wire it there may be a DIY post releated (not sure) or it can be easily googled as "DIY bathroom light" or something similar to that.

After my first grow im probably going to go to this closet box method, It looks very nice!

i also am growing 2 plants under cfl's ...my ? is if my grow area is double the size of that setup but my lights are really close how much light is being wasted by not having e light contained ?

The bathroom fixtures come with three wires. Simply go to the Home Depot wiring section and ask for some wire, "by-the-foot"

I simply said, "I need to make an extension cord. I need 5feet of three-strand wire"

they also sell at those places lamp kits and such as well as the cord with a plug on it.. kinda like an extension cord.. tho its not 3 wire.. (no ground).. yeah you can easily wire them .. just make sure whe nu atach the wires the metals or w/e do not touch.. (ie pos and neg).. have fun

umm thats not a good idea lol, unless the fan was made to withstand 240V (or 110v) then it will be a 12V fan which when run through atleast ten times its operational voltage will turn into a ball of flames and molten plastic lol. :hump:

a computer power supply (psu) is a good option because you can mount it somewhere and have use the 12v powercord to run your fans (hence pc fans :D) thats what i have, one pc fan, and one 10cm desk fan bongsmilie

I've got the PSU powering:
6 x 92mm PC Fans
1x 120mm PC Fan

^---yea i was thinkin power supply to but it takes more electricity and can get pretty warm at times but thanks for the help guys im about to start my first grow, i will post pics when i complete the set up!!!
