Jethro's Stealth CFL Closet Build and Grow

Canuk, I just began construction of my own and I do believe he's likely using a 12-volt charging source and just splicing the wiring, such as with a cell phone charger for example. That's what I'm doing as well, anyway :)
 
Jethro, are your fans running at all times or just when the lights are on? Is the room starting to smell yet, man, or did you hook up the filter? Looking good thus far....

ur best bet would be a 120v ac to 12v dc power converter but an extra ac/dc would work and also reduce noise if u use lower wattage then 12vdc 4 would even work but you wouldent get full power of the fan.also u it would be adviseble to solder any open wire connections and tape them with electrical tape to be safe and lol make sure u match positive and negative up rite positive is usaly red on the fans, and black with a white pinstripe on the adapters and the converters come in diffrent forms so if u get one of those make sure it has two screws on the back to install the fan wires to and the screws are listed - and + its pretty simple.

Looks like you might get a 1/4 off each plant but I really can't tell nothing to compare it to.
 
a little late but a good substitute for mylar is that really shiny gift wrapping paper, you can buy it for like 3 bucks at kmart.
 
Jethro, how long did you wait before you had to hook up the filter? Also, could you please tell me the overall dimensions of the outside of your box, or at least height, width and length? Thanks a lot
 
And for anyone and everyone else, do you think you could emulate this exact setup with any indica strain? I was kind of wondering about NLxBB...

Very Nice. Did you have some 65,000K CFL's during the veg stage? What kind of CFL's have you used at the different stages. I am growing in my closet and I had no idea how different 65,000K daylight cfl's are than the 2700 type. Man, I had been trying to veg with no 65,000K bulbs. I finally found some daylight bulbs in the blue packages at Walmart and purchased 6 26 watt bulbs. Now I am veging exclusively under those bulbs.

i think you mean 6500k not 65,000k but yea 6500k for veg and 2500 for veg but 2700 is fine.if you wandering what 6500k and 2500 is its the intensity of the light on the kelvin scale. lower numbers are more red spectrum and higher are more blue spectrum.:blsmoke:
