Nothing in your second paragraph reflects reality.
As to your first paragraph, Hitchens was a Trotskiest style socialist. Not a neo con. Yes, he defended W's decision to invade Iraq based off of the executive orders of Clinton and binding resolutions of the UN and in accordance with international law. Hitchens won debates because he was a gifted orator with an impressive command of language.
Hitchens was what Hedges and Chomsky want to be when they grow up. He most certainly was not an imperialist. He was decidedly anti imperialist.
What he didn't do, that you and your idols do, is allow political correctness to lead to societal suicide. He was a staunch supporter of secular values and defending liberty and humanity when and wherever possible. We shall not see his equal for some time.

Second, I have never in my life worked in a the food industry.
